The final chapter in the Brian Laundrie investigation is still being written, and much of the content will come from the evidence discovered in the Florida nature reserve where Brian Laundrie's body was found.
So far, the initial autopsy results are inconclusive; however, Brian Entin joins "Banfield" to unearth some facts unseen around the death of Brian Laundrie.

Northport police are in the pocket of the Laundrie family. In order to become a police officer you have to have a certain level of perception and pass a certain amount of tests. I cannot imagine that these kinds of mistakes would be made by a normal functioning police officer. My own guess is that the Laundrie family have some influence over someone somehow. You don’t need a full on conspiracy all you need is a weak link, a weak corrupt link.

Don't really care about the Laundries and that they had to leave their house to grieve for their son. They should have told him go to the police and report Gaby missing or whatever else he did to her. Parents and Brian should have contacted Gabys parents. It's unbelievable and uncomprendable how they neglected to do this. I stand with Gabys Parents. My heart goes out to them.

Imagine he came home for a couple days and he didn't mention anything then next thing you know your son's on the news being accused of murder. I agree with you Ashley. Under normal circumstances, I'm usually forgiving of other people's mistakes but when it comes to this case where they let the only suspect get away, and both Gabby and Brian are dead, this is truly frustrating. I am not so convinced though that the remains are Brian's because of the way the remains were found and the fact that only bones were left. If they use DNA to confirm the identity of the remains, then I will have no doubt.

@@pastorpottergabes5292 Do you realize how stupid you sound? If this wasn't such a serious case, I'd be laughing at your comments. Brian ALSO had tattoos and had sex before marriage. You're not a Christian, you're a troll! As for everyone else, Wth is wrong with you people? Two people lost their lives, in a very tragic situation, stemming from domestic abuse. Brian Laundrie is dead. For him to not be dead, numerous people would have to be in on a conspiracy and/or be duping the FBI, if they aren't involved themselves. Too many people would know about it to keep it quiet. All of these people with their conspiracy theories want some fantastical story. Well, sometimes truth is stranger than fiction. Brian is dead. He killed himself because he couldn't handle the fact that he strangled his gf, and he knew the police were eventually going to find her and link him. He was a textbook narcissist. I dated a guy just like him once. He was a coward. Stop making him out to be so smart that he could fake his own death and get away with it. He was a little punk who beat his gf, then he couldn't take what was about to happen to him. Geez! His parents did what any smart person would do, hire an attorney and keep quiet. They owe no one answers. They didn't kill anyone. It is their constitutional right as Americans to remain silent. I think their attorney did a pretty good job in that regard.

No matter how bad the cops were on keeping eyes on Brain the fact still is the Laundrie’s never called Gabby’s family. To me that makes the Laundrie’s as guilty as their son. This is one crazy family with the way they handled things. Cold hearted comes to my mind knowing that the family was calling them to help find answers. All the man power and money could have been avoided if the Laundrie’s would have done the right thing. I can’t even put this on the Lawyer’s dumb butt. I do not know how the Laundries can even live with all the wrong that was done in this case clear down to if they did the right thing their son would also be alive. Maybe in prison but they could still see him. What a crazy case I have no idea what they was thinking. And let me add what was up with the family camping trip knowing Gabby’s family was falling apart. These parents caused more problems then needed to be.

you're entire post is based on the assumption that Brian told his parents he hurt or killed Gabby, when the fact is no one knows what he said to them. as a result the Laundries have been treated as if they're cold hearted when legally they were advised to behave as they have, and would have been advised that by any lawyer. turns out that Gabby & Brian lived in a Condo prior to their trip not at the Laundries home...what if Brian said nothing about hurting Gabby, what if he said that Gabby left him alone with the van...maybe it was a complete surprise to the Brian's parents when Gabby showed up dead. i could go on with the numerous possibilities i considered then threw out, it all comes down to No one knows the facts . and when you dont have facts speculation is all you have, and when police & FBI dont give the public answers it escalates to crazy theories. I agree , why didnt the laundries contact Gabby's parents? But what would be a reasonable reason the laundries didnt/ What other reason besides killing Gabby would the lawyer advise to not contact gabby's parents? considering that Brian killed himself from grief over whatever happened...remorse and regret is not in line with public opinion. that folks are pissed off he's dead only because he can't be brought to justice, be sent to life in prison or executed is revealing the dark shadow side of the public.

What's there to "botch" ? Two individuals struggle to exist as a couple , both volatile and perhaps a bit confused. One strangles the other (to death) either in a fit of rage or while both are engaged in one of their many heated, passionate exchanges . The surviving member ponders his life post-mortem and resolves to finish himself off. ( He, ultimately, made a wise choice for society's sake. ) The nature of the relations leading up to the killing are, for the most part, matters intimate and private and should not be considered generally of concern to the public at large and certainly not "law-enforcement". This crap goes on day and night all over the world without things turning deadly. People, the public, the so-called authorities need to butt out unless summoned by someone directly a party to the cause. It's otherwise nothing more than guess-work, speculation, and prejudice guiding outsiders and to no avail.

First off, do you realize North Port PD isn't investing Brian for anything right? Teton County police are investing Gabby's death, Suffolk County was investigating Gabby's disappearance, and FBI was investigating credit card fraud. They asked North Port PD to keep an eye on him but have absolutely no power to arrest him till these other agencies issued a arrest warrant. So let get this straight, you want a police officer to be taken off of patrol and not investigate any other crime or patrol for crimes to sit out in front of the Laundrie's place at the tax payer's dime for someone who wasn't being investigated by their department?

@@chrisyanover1777 to answer your last question, yes. That’s exactly what should have happened. They had one job. One. Which was to keep surveillance on a “person of interest”, while the FBI could gather enough evidence for probable cause and issue a warrant, as they eventually did for bank fraud as that was the easiest. The NPPD said they had 10 officers assigned to this case. 10? They could’ve reduced that in half by removing remote surveillance, to 3 stationary officers parked simply outside. On round the clock 8 hour shifts. You could’ve saved tax payers money by not letting him go missing, and spend an egregious amount of money on an unnecessary search. So again, yes. It seems like a lot of people think his parents helped him in some way to escape consequences but I feel like if they helped him wouldn't he still be alive. I guess they hired an attorney for him and I DO wonder what he told them in order to manipulate them into doing that because once my son is 23 I dont control him anymore and that means I dont control his legal counsel either. But hiring your son a lawyer and shielding him from The consequences of whatever actions they thought he committed isnt illegal even if I highly disagree with it as a healthy parenting skill. He could've said he ditched gabby in Wyoming, left her at Motel 6, and took her van and he is going to get charged with grand theft auto and they didnt want to answer the Petitos calls because they thought they were calling to yell at them about where exactly Gabby was and because he'd taken her van. He could've told them anything. I hope we get a little closure from his family about what he told them when he got back and they open up now that Brian is deceased...I guess since he was living with them they could control him a little bit but then again he could just say f u mom or dad and run off into a swamp and there's nothing you can do to stop a grown man from going on a walk which is what his dad, who saw him go, thought he was doing...

The incompetence and laziness of this police force just amazes me. First they let Brian's father roam around the crime scene and get out of sight and come up with this bag, completely compromising evidence IF he found it and not planted it. Now they left the scene open to the public when a forensic anthropologist stated that the area needs to be slowly and carefully investigated for things in the soil, even the bugs are important to analyze the bones. My Noth Port Cop Experience: The year was 2001 ( wow time flys) I had a girlfriend who lived in this lame area of Fla. I personally lived 1.5 hours away from this area but still knew it well since I grew up in Venice only 20 mins away (Venice=nice ,North Port=sucks). I was the DD for my friend. It was her birthday. I drank coffee and Red Bull all evening not one drop of alcohol. I get pulled over by the cop known as Nick at night or Nick the _rick (rhymes with Nick starts with a P). Side note:If you are driving in North Port after midnight and a cop sees you. You are going to be pulled over. He asks if I have had anything to drink. I tell him only coffee and Red Bull all night. He then tells me my pupils look big. I am like ya, didn’t I just tell you I have been drinking coffee and Red Bull all night. He then calls a female cop out to search me. I give them permission to search my car. It was a little funny to me because all I had was a gym bag with wet sweaty clothes for them to enjoy. Mind you all this takes over an hour and it is after 3am and I still have to drive home 1.5 hrs. Of course I am sober and clean. Nick goes and runs my licenses, registration and insurance. He comes back and tells me I can’t take my car. He says I don’t have insurance. I do have insurance because I pay in full but I was shocked by what he was saying and in no mood to protest. He tries to act like he is doing me a favor by telling me I can’t drive my car but I can have someone pick me up. I call my very drunk GF that I dropped off at her house over an hour ago. I did told her to have her mom come get me. However, she was drunk and not making good choices. She came herself and picked me up. She had make up smeared across her face and had zero ability in standing straight. She was barefoot! I was thinking “Oh shit, I am sending my friend to jail on her birthday “. To my surprise he released me to her! Let’s recap: I told the cop I was the DD for my friend My DL address shows I live far away. What is the likelihood I am calling anyone other than my friend I went out with at 3am? Drunk birthday drives drunk to rescue me. Cop let’s me leave with drunk girl. I call my insurance company in the AM and they said of course I am fully covered. However, I had to come back to the local courthouse for traffic court to prove myself.... another wasted day.

There's little that really didn't add up here, in my limited opinion. I qualify my opinion because I surely must lack the credentials of the sleuths who have contributed so emphatically in these posts. It looked entirely like a crime of passion from the beginning, it was understandable that Brian's folks followed their attorney's advice throughout, it stood to reason that Brian was highly distraught over losing Gabby (in a fit of passion) and felt he had no reason to continue living and quite possibly felt that he could join Gabby by taking his own life. That just fit the MO of cases of this nature and when Brian entered the vast park lands, not being any real kind of survivalist, and taking nothing of merit with him, it was pretty obvious that suicide might be a possibility. That all added up loosely but was more plausible then all the other conspiracy theories out there, but internet junkies do like their conspiracies, contrary to logic to the contrary.

I think that a sizable amount of followers don't believe their botched "case closed" narrative. How easy it is to just claim to the public bodily remains were discovered without showing a dang thing. The authorities & parents had vested interest in making this go away and I even had a feeling if that means stooping so low as to come up with "evidence" out of desperation, so be it. The whole entire case from Moab to North Port feels botched, fake almost. The absurdity to the extent this little boy "prince" was catered to & the incompetency, corruption..... I think he was put into a witness protection program, or just allowed to "walk". A trial would have shed too much light on police & FBI and every move they made or didn't make that was wrong, and that was everything in this case!!! Authorities never seemed to want to nab this creep and i think it has to do with "he's a nice, okay guy being abused by a crazy girl" male bias and pay -offs, something the authorities wanted this over because the scrutiny & criticism was not in their protocol and their stupid media conference in the end just before claiming remains were found, was all about glorifying themselves & praising & worshipping themselves & the phenomenal, amazing & life defyingly incredible job they've done on this case, that definitely made it seem staged as if they'd had it with the public & press and what they perceived to be unjust ridicule & serious serious denial & self-protecting/defending that only the SUPER CORRUPT engage in.

In the dash cam footage the officer called the witness to ask what he saw for confirmation because the police were trying to determine who was the aggressor. The officer even asked the witness leading questions to see if they would respond positively that Brian was the aggressor. The witness could not corroborate that. He said that he saw what looked like him maybe pushing her away as if to block but he did not see him aggress her. So all that was left to go off of, at that point, were the physical scratches on Brian’s face which is why they were going to arrest Gabby. And, just because Gabby looked sweet and innocent doesn’t mean that she didn’t have a temper and could get volatile with him. We don’t know the facts. We can only surmise. But, I think its best to remain objective until more information is released. The internet jumped on domestic violence accusations against Brian when they do not have a documented history of DV. And, also, women are less likely to be charged for DV because it is underreported. So small numbers doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen. DV is wrong no matter who it is and its not right to automatically default to it being the man without FACTS. Sometimes it’s both people in the relationship who are dysfunctional. Facts matter.

I'm surprised they didn't mention the fact that when she found the bottle she called the cops and only one officer came out and told her that they didn't need the bottle. The only reason why they ended up wanting the bottle is because she had 1 million followers who started asking questions about the bottle and the police department's handling of the case. If it hadn't been for her following then nobody would be hearing about the water bottle right now which is also more proof that the police department did not do their job as well as the coroner.
