Hello ! Amigo.. congrats for your vídeo and the Adventure in trying New Food. One advice is better to go to the country side. Panama City is like New York In that, every nationality is there ! So, they open restaurants and that doesn’t mean the food is native…but, borrowed. Is like the taco, or spaghettis, or pizza every country love those food but are not native. Hope am making sense. That’s why people is writing about the arepas! They are not native from Panama because lots of people from Colombia and Venezuela call Panama home now. Thanks for the video!

Arepas ARE NOT panamanian food!! They are Venezuelan. They are in Panama because a lot of Venezuelans have fled their country and settled in Panama.

Arepas are not native to Panama, you want to eat a great arepa, go to Colombia and Venezuela. This pop up food stands are from the people who leave colombia or venezuela going through El Darien and somehow don't make it to the US border and stay in Panama. You need to try tortillas, tamales, carimañolas, bollos, carne en palito, seviche, corvina frita, queso blanco, guacho, chicheme, pesada de nance, mafa, cafe, sancocho (very good for a hangover) and other very delicious foods that I can't remember right now, and that this gentleman did not research before making his video. ♥☺
