Outstanding Presentation! Thanks for sharing this amazing Mustang story. In 1974 I had a Mercury Capri and my roommate had a Mustang II, I was not a fan of those Mustang II because I always wanted a Mustang 1966-1970 but gas prices skyrocketed.

Very well explained the Mustang 1964.5 and I totally agree on 17:35 (of course 😉). This red beauty is indeed super rare with unique features that makes it a real 1964 1/2. There is even documentation and pictures. This car started the Mustang hype 60 years ago. What a legend and icon. There is even an earlier Mustang on the exhibition on 7:35 Unbelievable to see, what an opportunity. Great video and many thanks for the tour and your explanations. Happy 60th birthday Mustang.

140k IS out of line. A clone, forget it. I have a 1969 Mustang Mach 1 with a 351W. Candy apple Red. I love Mustangs but not 140k for a clone of a movie car. Thanks for this video, I learned a lot.

Dammit Man, I missed that hall with the 2 prototypes! So much to see in 1 day. We drove my brother’s 1955 Ford Wagon, from Cleveland to the show. Thanks for the coverage. Watching from the comfort of my couch here in Orlando JT

On the mustang2, you guys almost got them all! Just wanted to tell ya guys, 74 front header was differant, and in 78, there was a ultra rare 4 cylinder turbo called the Phoenix with decal on hood, and way back in 64-1/2 nochback originally first was a 6 cylinder. But it was nice to see what they had out there! And what it cost to build the 73 mustangs, they could build the mustang2 and the pinto on the same manufacturing lines, so even though they were different, some parts were simular, like rack-in-pinon, spindles 4 cylinder & trans ect. But did not share the same frame line. And just to say, theres also a ultra rare 14 mustang premo convertible as a 6 cylinder turbo cyclone, with non-shaker hood scoop, just like mine out there too.

Love the old Mustangs and this video is great. The first Mustang I ever saw was in the movie Goldfinger. Does anyone know what happened to that car? Maybe this gentleman from the museum might have knowledge of it.

Shouldn't there be extra bracing on the shock towers of the S Code 67 fastback? I thought all big blocks got the extra bracing?
@dougjustdoug63916 ай бұрын
Only the 68.5 and up 428 cobra jets received the shock tower bracing.

The "Eleanor" Mustangs have now become passe... They now look ridiculous and cartoonish and reflect the over- indulged 1990s. They have become a joke, and I'd be embarrassed to be seen driving it! Eleanor/ Shmeleanor!
@badass6.0powerstroke106 ай бұрын
I was never a big fan of them, now there's so many of them, get tired of seeing Old Fastbacks turned into Eleanor Look a Likes, I'd much rather see an older Fastback restored back to original condition.

I’ve had 10 mustangs over 40 years. They are cheap buckets of bolts, but look awesome. If you can’t restore it yourself and need a shop to do it your fu€ked! Labour and materials are absolutely ridiculous.
