Good morning Curt & Snow. What a beautiful town. I stopped and backed up during your tour in the church. One of the paintings shows John there at the cross with Mary. Which most paintings leave out. One of the last things Christ did just before He died He said "26 When Jesus therefore saw His mother, and the disciple (John) whom He loved standing by, He said to His mother, “Woman, behold your son!” 27 Then He said to the disciple, “Behold your mother!” And from that hour that disciple took her to his own home." - John 19:26-27. Curt your hike show the beauty of the town. I held my breath as you walked by those very narrow places Curt, what an absolutely spectacular hike. And Snow I always enjoy your educational trips. I enjoyed both of the places that you showed. What a beautiful and wonderful way to start Saturday. I love seeing all of the cats throughout the town. I know that you see cats throughout Europe but I don't know that I've seen anywhere where there is so many cats. Such a beautiful wonderful area.

Montenegro is such a lovely country. It's on my short list of places to visit! Thank you for a beautiful and respectful filming of the church... It's the Cathedral of St. Tryphon, and it's still Catholic. Your first clue is that the altar is not set aside with a screen as is the practice in the Eastern Catholic and Orthodox. The second clue, is that I recognized the Jubilee poster!

That is amazing things at the church museums. How they were able to hold on to those possessions for all the years of wars and take overs. Many small churches? I can only assume they were once a families personal chapel. I love the history.

At minute 24:00 you looked out over the port where the huge cruise ships come in - it is a ZOO when they each unload 2000 passengers and they troop through the streets. You picked the right time and day to walk through old Kotor, for sure! We stayed across the bay from your parkup, in a great little BnB.

What a beautiful hideaway! Thank you for showing us so many aspects of Kortor. I loved the beautiful stonework in the gorgeous church and taking us back to 100AD. Snow, there is nothing any better than a Greek salad made in Greece. My love of feta and olives grew significantly from my two visits to Greece. Can’t wait for you to travel there. Stunning area with lots of history, does ppl still live in those buildings in the old part of the city? Didn't see many out and about around there. But did see some laundry hanging outside. Lol In the new part of town what is their choice of transportation? A town that takes care of their many cats is a great love for their fur babies. Vanna and G-Money are finally in a place where they are rightfully revered! 🙂 What a fascinating city, such amazing history recorded there. You captured the iconography, museum and cathedral perfectly, just as the bells were ringing…. Then the maritime museum and associated culture was educational. No wonder it was so coveted by so many cultures. Whoever controlled this city controlled access to trade. It’s cool that you’ve found the balance to show the lower elevation walk (Snow) and “normal life” view as well as the higher hike (Curt) views. Wow! ✌️❤️🐈 ere.
