Don't forget the Striped Grunter! (at 0:15, and also hanging around in front of the catfish from 5:44 onwards). Amniataba percoides.

@@murkyseb It seems it's called the Barred Grunter these days. My old books say "striped". Oh well. It also seems it has been introduced into the Mary system, as it is really a native of tropical rivers only. Just like the Sooty Grunter, which has also now been found in the Mary recently.

@@NoTaboos thats a shame. This river has soo many amazing fish native to it. Its such a shame there are all these species that shouldnt be in it

I believe there may have also been a Mangrove Jack among the first school of perch. Also my solution for Tilapia, marinate in salt, vinegar, garlic and chili ( this removes any muddy flavors ), then fry till golden brown. Delish.
