I enjoyed this video. It is like hanging out with an old friend. I don’t mass make anymore. I started out mass-making but rarely used the items I made. If you miss a couple of weeks of content to go on vacation, I am sure your loyal followers will understand. Maybe a vacation with your hubby is the perfect way to charge your battery.

Love those “raw - uncut videos”, it really feels like we are crafting together. We really exercise our listening skills without interrupting each other since we cant respond immediatly 😂 I was doing some stitching on paper while watching your video. Yellow gold and rose gold are my “go to” colors for splattering.

Regarding the fear of not having any content: You probably think that you will lose viewers and/or subscribers, but I believe that is false. I am so appreciative of the hard work you put in for our viewing pleasure. Trust me, I'm not going anywhere! I'm preparing my garden seedlings 🌱 so I'll be busy with that - why not take that vacation? You wouldn't have to go far for a vacation reset. Enjoy !!

This is such a wonderful little journal. Glad to see it again. I do food prep and keep meals for work in my freezer. My health journey became serious for me about 2 years ago. I was tired of battling chronic joint pain. I have struggled with kidney stones for almost 20 years. I started eating low oxalate and the weight peeled off and the joint pain went away. I haven’t felt this good in years! My motivation to keep to this new way of eating (WOE) is to keep the joint pain away. I think each person has to find their individual health plan that works for them and it doesn’t always include a medical person. I hope you soon get a relaxing vacation and come back re-energized! Have a blessed day!

I love the cover on this little Journal. I like the outside piece that wraps around the main cover. I like using my Grandkids shirts that they’ve outgrown for the fabric. Right now I have 2 shirts. Similar fabric. Both are a large gingham print. One is black and white. The other is teal, white and a small black stripe. I have black lace, white lace and I just found some teal lace. So now I’m thinking it would be so cute to put a topper around the black and white base. I love this free and easy series. I hope you and your hubby have a great, relaxing vacation. You deserve it. Edit: I forgot to tell you, I started watching you when your tube of Van Gogh gold was completely full. Its EMPTY!! I hope Action or wherever you get it from still carries it. Lol

Hello Barbara, these videos are my favorite, I love the bright colours on your pages. My style changed a lot, when I look at the old pages I don't like what I'm seeing, it's a good idea to put everything in one journal. ❤❤❤ I prepare my breakfast and lunch for work in the evenings, I start working at 8.00am, I wake up at 4.30am, after 6.00am it's hard to find a parking and I don't have time to eat breakfast at home so I do that at work. I don't have a particular diet, I just control my portions, timings, chocolate especially😊😊😊 and do youtube pilates. I don't eat out, I always think I can make it myself and even more better. As for the washing machine noise for me personally you shouldn't apologize, usually I always watch you creating while I'm doing the laundry, I find it very relaxing. Never give up for your health and safety Barbara!!! b🦋

Another comment ... I am always crafting with you, not necessarily following a tutorial but just the sound of you, Rachel at Roxy Creations or Natasha's voice, at Treasure Books. I currently have four covers to make. I leave them to the end, my signatures are done, ephemera, journal cards ... all of it. I am inspired by the 3 of you!! Each of you bring something special to the table. Easter tradition: my mom made my sister and I ( the youngest in family of 8 kids, with my twin brother) an Easter outfit. She was an excellent seamstress, cook, parent and worked hard on our farm. She was a woman I have always admired!❤ I have answered most of your questions???😂 😊

Hi Barbara, it makes me feel good when I hear that even you as a professional had to seek high and low for the right glues. It is either to weak, or stinky, or makes the paper all soggy and wrinkly, no matter how little you use. I think I have finally won, but sure am going to see what you recommend. Do not forget to rest more. your body is run down, needs a new path of adventurous exercise and healthy eating. Take care, what would we all do without you. 🌈🌹🌻☺

Hi Barbara. I meal prep weekly. On Sunday prepare a meal for Sunday through Wednesday. Thursday I will another meal, an easy one to get through til the next Sunday. I don’t do macros. But I find if I make 2 main meals I can have enough leftovers. I do have individual containers. I sometimes use them and sometimes don’t, depending on what I make. I do it because I work from home and it makes it so much easier for me during the work week. I almost always have salad fixings and swap lunches and dinners if I need a change. Sometimes I add the protein to my salad too.

Glad the bone density is being done, I commented about that after you told us about your rib. Also, building muscle to support your bones will be a life long journey. Food prep? I grow my own veggies, lettuce and herbs. There is a drying process to preserve and freezing but worth the extra effort. Oh ya!! Our meal time is always prepped. We vary rarely eat out, and we do not eat fast food. Also watch salt intake and drink more water for gut and joint health and muscles nned water!. Dont let people tell you that any of your strategic planning of food intake is stressful!!!! You will find your routine, Barbara and it will enhance your life, not stress you.Everything you are doing will benefit you. Keep it up, these temporary bumps in the road will pass! Thank you for sharing your health journey. Have a good lunch, love this little journal!❤Jeannie 😊

I love these uncut videos. And, we get to hear about what's going on in your life too. 😊 Everyone needs to find their own way in figuring out their fitness journey, and you seem to be on track with yours! 😊 Meal prepping is something I did before and it's my plan to start again, since it's super handy to have lunch ready when you come home from work (I'm currently working less than part time). Easter... well, I usually visit my mum and we eat what we traditionally do in Sweden. Until some years ago, she'd go to church, and I'd stay home. Now she watches it on tv instead. We'd take a walk, or several, if the weather is ok. It's usually in April and we can still have snow and cold spells, but this year it was early. Question nr 3, or 2, I think was if we were crafting beside you, and I just enjoyed the video this time. Been unwell. Still work in that journal I wrote about, so yes, but it's a slow process. Now I'm going to refresh my memory and watch how you assembled this wonderful journal. 😊 And end this long, very long, comment...

I love these uncut videos. Not only do they remind you of things you've done in the past, you remind me. I forgot about the corner tucks with a fold and I want to make some punches with fabric behind them. It's such a great way to use fabric scraps. While I was watching you this evening I was printing and cutting out photos for some memory keeping pages in my journal so I suppose I was crafting beside you, sort of. Easter traditions when I was a little girl always included a new dress and new, white patent leather shoes. My parents always hid the Easter baskets (always with See's candy) and then we would have Easter dinner with our extended family. Now, we go to church and then drive down to spend the day with our grandkids. It's all festive and fueled by chocolate!

Another lovely hangout session Barbara. Maybe you & Luise could do a leftover Dephemerember scraps challenge with each other as a video 🤔 There are some beautiful scraps in there. Would love to get my paws on that basket lol

Hi! I’m making an art journal for my mother-in-law. I have book covers 9x12 and will use loose rings to bind it so she can change to larger rings as her journal grows. I’m including lots of inspiration and prompts. My challenge is to fill the huge pages, so wish me luck! 😊

I keep a record everyday. I enter each meal with total calories, macros for protein, carbs, fat. I try for each meal to be 40% protein, 35% carbs, and 25% fat. Keeping the record manually works for me. Good luck! And l love your videos, no matter what you are doing! 💖

Looove this videos 🙏🥰🥰 so chilled and easy going 🥰 can we make a journal for this purpose and do the journey together? I don’t believe that we can exercise a muscle that is consistent in a tight move. We got to relax the muscle to make it stronger. So relaxing holiday sounds like a great idea 👏🥳🥰 Hope you feel better soon dear ❤️🥰🙏 lots of love from arctic Norway 😊🌸🌼🌼☘️🌺

It’s so crazy listening to Europeans going on vacation. In America if you go out of the country it’s a huge expense and huge trip. And you guys can pop anywhere but here easily. I get so jealous! It’s like the world is open to yall. All we have is America. Most have never left the country. Europeans can go everywhere. Grrrrrr! But hey don’t worry about your videos. Nobody is going to go anywhere. We are gonna wait right here for you and you’ll be so happy and relaxed and I dare say inspired when you return! Just take your vacation and unwind with the hubby and reconnect and then worry about your videos and stuff when you get back. That’s my best advice and 100% hope that you take this advice. 🎉🎉❤❤❤

I forgot about your question about food. I do a combination of portion control, calorie counting, and carb counting. Also watching the sodium intake. We lost my mom the end of 2019, then Covid came and closed CA for a year, and then we moved to Texas which, at the time, was a little depressing. Being a stress eater I put on over 50 lbs. Over the past year I have taken off 31 pounds and will continue to work on the next 20. It's slow but slow stays away. On vacation I eat carefully for two days and then take a day off! It's vacation after all! I admire your determination. Keep going!

Hi Barbara ... I had a giggle at " Girl that ship has sailed " ... I watch all your videos and some even more than once ... I look forward to each one and got spoiled in December when I could watch you almost every day. What I have learned from you is invaluable ! Here is a suggestion for a future video ... Gesso ... types, uses and examples of how you use it. I haven't used it before but are very curious to start experimenting with it but don't know enough yet. I hope you get better soon and girl, make plans for a nice vacation with relaxation ... you need it.

Best video, Barbara! I hate u broke a rib! Don't push yourself too hard, gotta rest to heal! You just come on to USA, and we will go to Disney World. We just got back and loved it! It was definitely not a restful trip, but it was sooo fun. They had topiaries of all the characters. I filled my phone up w pics! I did weight watchers a few years ago. I lost 50 lbs. Tracking was key! Meal prepping also helped tremendously. When I went out to eat, I normally got some type of salmon with a veggie, or just made that my cheat day. I live for your "Oh no" moments. Thank you so much for sharing such a personal video with us. I know u don't know me, but I am your friend in my heart! Hope u feel better and get a relaxing beach vacation w ur hubby❤❤❤

Lovely! 🤩🤩🤩 I’m so lucky that I don’t have to cook, my hubby is the chef here. If I was on my own and had to cook, I would probably prepare in advance. I stopped eating added sugar since September. I was addicted, but once it was set in my mind, it wasn’t even difficult. Sometimes I craft along with you and sometimes I just watch and enjoy the video. Hope you feel better and your rib will be healed soon. ❤

😊very nice. I do watch what I eat. Generally its no sugar, use stevia, no maltodextrin foods. I never eat out because you never know how the food has been added to, processed, or age of prepackaged. I never buy prepackaged or ready to eat foods or preprepared. I filter my bottled water. Thats just a start in right direction. All natural food vitamins, powders, etc were next. Lol they are premade. My A1c was 6.5 when started. Now its 5.5, so im on right track.I'm afraid I do not exercise. But I do pop up and down alot, keeping busy. You and Luise keep me busy, which is a joy to start creating and learning techniques. Be safe, take care. The bread i eat i make myself. Its not a real sour dough. But i do ferment the dough in the refrig. Before i cook it. Ive started freezing the cooked bread, then toast it before eat. I heard that is better for you. Pasta, rice, potato, breads, better as it becomes resistant starches and feeds good bacterias in gut. I also add apple cider vinegar to my bread dough. If i add tsp. yeast, i then add tsp. of acv. Best flavor of bread for my tastes, is 3 days fermented. But use it any time. I got the recipe from Marys Nest video. A Busy Mothers Sour Dough Secret.or something like that title. I only use organic flour to stay away from pesticides. Take care.its the only time i use sugar, which i use sucanat sugar.lol

Hi .Yes the mass making doesn't work for me either. My style changes with every journal ,plus I get out paper and and use every little piece up. I am a bit too organised and like co-ordinated pieces. My plan is to try and make a grungy, messy junk journal, a freer piece. Will see if it is possible for me. Can only try. Thanks for the videos.

Crafting along today. I do not food prep. I am almost 60, and I can’t even begin to tell you how much money, time, energy and more money I put into trying to lose weight and gain muscle. I have always been heavyset. I finally found small things that help me and slowly added, subtracted or changed. Nothing else was sustainable for me. For instance, I am the kind of person who needs to keep my diet/exercise plans to myself. I don’t talk about it because I’m tired of talking about it for so many years. 😂 But also because my motivation can only come from within. It is the kind of person I am. However, my best friend is the kind of person who has to constantly be talking about it. It’s her way of keeping herself accountable. She has done so good on programs like Weight Watchers. She needs cheerleaders all around her. She needs someone to mention, hey, is that on your diet? I guess what I’m saying is figure out what you need to be successful. And if meal prep works for you, then it will the most awesome thing for you to do. It will become a habit or routine that will help you for the rest of your life. Anyway, I do hope you start to feel better, again! And remember, the most important thing is that you are beautiful inside and out! Hugs ❤️🤗

I’m currently working on backgrounds for a new sketchbook. While we’d love to have you come to the USA, it’s probably better you decided not to come in an election year. Things are already heating up and people are just getting crazy. Anyway, when you do come, you should do a meet and greet! That would be so much fun! Don’t stress, just enjoy your trip. If we have to miss a few videos or a kit so you can relax and regroup we’ll be okay. We have over 1,000 videos to watch and lots of kits to play with until you get back from vacay, and we’ll still be here when you get back. It’s better to take a break now than to get burned out and not be able to make videos, etc. for an unknown amount of time.

O dear, lots of questions….. next time please put them too in the description box…. 🥴🤣 Anyway seems you are still in conflict with perfection - I know that struggle and overcame it a bit by small daily pages in a way throwing some papers and glue and finishing with lots of purple paint, feeling happy at the end. Vacation: I wish hubby and I could have a last one but no traveling is to much for him. Instead we looking photo albums of all strange trips we made. Consider a train to the Netherlands and visiting the flower parades and flower gardens full with tulips etc……. Right take care of your health first and leave us a week or so without a video, makes us more appreciating…..

Sweetie are you ok? You don't sound good 🤗🤗🤗. What a cute way to us negative space 😍 I have some stashed somewhere. Yes, I have bits everywhere🙈. Yes finding your happy glues is definitely a process! Lol he's so CUUUTE 😍lol that ship definitely sailed. My kids are older, we just give a gift and some eggs to our 25 year old and send money for our granddaughter. She gets so much chocolate and an egg hunt so she enjoys having money to spend (little diva is 4 so it's usually rainbow unicorns glitter wellies etc 😄). We used to decorate boiled eggs, granddaughter does now. We have a tradition here where you roll them downhill and if yours doesn't break you go on to the next round. 😄 sounds silly explaining it now 🙊. Yes, other people's scraps look much more interesting! Scrap swap is cool. Yes, it'll be Christmas again soon 😄. I'm making a journal from leftover witchy stuff, one from gift bags and my third digital kit which I'm loving. Gold splatters for me since I first saw you do it! I knew you didn't sound right, I hope you feel better soon🤗🤗🤗. You could maybe holiday vlog instead of worrying about craft content? Showing how beautiful Egypt is maybe? I enjoyed seeing your photos last time. I love Egypt. Or take a break, we'll miss you but you're more important! I miss exercise, I was a bit obsessed🙊. Oh bone density? Fingers crossed! Your ankle was 2 years ago ?😱. I do fruit, salads, chicken, fish and slimfast, and really need to start🙈. I used to do an hour of high impact cardio (Ozrobics was fun) and half an hour muscle work every day. Oh seams is a fab idea 💡👏👏👏. Hope you feel better soon sweetie 🤗. Tfs and have a great day 💖💖💖

With hugs Ute
