I got my first field test in with the I-fish fixed float. I caught 6 crappie, a bass and a dozen bluegill. I wanted to find a critism but i couldn't find one. The castability was amazing , i didnt have one tangle around the bobber, i didnt have line twist issues, i cannot believe how easy it is to adjust the depth. I literally chipped my teeth last year trying to pop the plastic peg out of the trout magnet float and had to have them repaired. Your float was so awesome to use i am completely spoiled now. I already feel anxious about maybe running out and going to your website and seeing out of stock. I may have to break open the piggy bank and make another order. Thank you for you hard work in the development of these products. Not all heroes wear capes 😁😁

i will indeed be out of stock some time in May, maybe even by the end of the month.. but the next batch will be larger and should be here by July. Just make sure u r good till July : )

Your floats arrived, I tested them in the pool... they sit so perfectly, they sit directly on the black and colored border perfectly always, you twitch and the antennas straightens back up fast. I think the case you shipped them in is a brilliant idea, to throw in a tacklebag so the delicate stem stays safe, and they are reusable! Correct me if I'm wrong, but did you design the top of the float it black, so it's much easier to contrast and focus on the antenna? I appreciate you sacrificing some durability for the ultimate sensitive float. They are works of art. They remind me of the handcrafted tanago floats from Japan, but for jig fishing :)
@ifishcatfishАй бұрын
Yes, all of my floats have black cap on top, so the bright orange pops even more : ) The floats are indeed very fragile to any kind of force, but i have some old raggedy ones, and they will not break just from fishing. U will see that floats will be your lowest expense at the end of the year. Even if u fish from the bank u will probably lose 3-5 all year, as long as u use thinner leader

You need to be checking your shellcracker spots. They are certainly on the move here on Lake Barkley.

I like the way you use your live scope , I hate watching videos where you only see the fisherman just looking down at a screen plucking fish. Thank you for not fishing like sooo many others . As soon as i see those live scope only guys I move on .
@ifishcatfishАй бұрын
and so do I.. so do I.. Since recently i'm even afraid to keep it on top of the fish because i feel like it spooks them. I will scan to see some fish and put it away and just fish there. This way there is still some magic and unknown.. is there a fish chasing it or not..

those will come in late July, due to some production changes.. but i do have new models coming up in a couple of weeks.. 0.6G#12 and 0.75G#10, both made without lead. I have the gloves coming up soon also.

You talked about scraping the paint off the BG-1's. I did that quite a bit last year because I use hemostats instead of that nifty little dehooker tool you use. Is there a certain brand that works well for little bluegill mouths over others? Thanks

For the algorithm. Thank you for your insight on yesterday’s comment victor. I went ahead and ordered a Daiwa presso air ags XULT. My next question is when it comes to a reel. Like I said I’ve watched all of your vids on the vanquish and new airity. i am thinking either which one in a 1000 size. Having handled both, what do you recommend? It almost feels wrong putting a shimano reel on a daiwa rod, but im willing to look past that. Looks are not that important to me and prefer functionality.
@ifishcatfishАй бұрын
For that rod i strongly recommend this airity from the video. Just because that rod is 42 grams, and with this reel you will have a total rig weight 174 gram. Thats unbelievable. Also for superultralight fishing that size 500 is really good.. i made some new observations today..
@ifishcatfishАй бұрын
and thumbs up for thinking about my algorithm : )

Thank you for your Insight. What line were you using in this video? I’m considering going with varivas polyester 2.3 lbs in .4 diameter
@ManAndRodАй бұрын
hi. awesome and informative videos. considering to buy airity st but not sure which one. i'm looking for trout fishing. often in strong ish current, lures usually about 5g minnows, my rod is tenryu up to 8 g. 0.4PE line 10lb. most trout about 35cm but sometimes 50 cm. always fishing upstream and bringing lure down with current. because of that, i need some speed and power in reel. my consideration is in between ST SF2000SS-H ; ST SF2500SS-H-QD ; ST LT2500S-XH-QD. Lt is fastest and drag is most powerful but SF are lighter and smaller. Should i be considering 5kg drag or 3kg should be plenty? Advice would be very appreciated. thanks
@ifishcatfishАй бұрын
Dont talk about powerful drag. Its stupid. Nobody needs more rhan 1 lb drag for trout. Dont buy any reels with H. High gear ratio is bad for fishing. Just pick a normal 2500 reel
@ManAndRodАй бұрын
@@ifishcatfish don't know man, when I'm casting upstream and i need to bring my lure back, currently i have 78cm per turn and most of the time i have to reel very fast because river is fast. And with 1lb drag i wouldn't be able to turn 35cm fish around, not even talking about 50 cm or bigger ones. Need a lot of power from reel and rod to be able control fish, otherwise fish will go into snags. As well, what's the point to use 10lb line if I'll use only 1lb drag? And i need 10lb line. Tried thinner but not strong enough to control bigger fish. But my main question was answered - 3 kg will be strong enough. Thanks mate 👊🎣

Is ultega c3000 good for salt water besides nasci and stradic FL. Mostly for pier and bank fishing. Can't afford twin power as of now
@ifishcatfishАй бұрын
It has some water protection but the stradic is stronger and better protected

Hello! What do you recommend between Daiwa Luvias Airty PC3000 and Daiwa Certate 2024 LT3000-CH? At the moment I am using Daiwa Luvias 2020. Or if you recommend another reel besides the ones I mentioned. Thank you!
@ifishcatfishАй бұрын
I don't know what you are fishing for, but these two reels are not alternatives. One is extreme finesse, and the certate is heavy duty aluminum frame reel. Also don't buy models with H
@darkevill87Ай бұрын
@@ifishcatfish Why not with H? I fish with a jig (4-25g), as the target fish: zander.

@i.o.3563Ай бұрын
ok, someone has to defend an underspool bearing))) Yes, we can't feel the difference with our hand, but... If we're fishing with like 1.5lb line, even the smallest difference could mean a lot. Besides, when you buy a high end thing, you don't approach it 100% practically. High end means going for more than is actually needed.
@ifishcatfishАй бұрын
*Besides, when you buy a high end thing, you don't approach it 100% practically.* -- yes, i will agree with that. For example i expect elegant design and no funny colors
