I honestly like that detail. I have studied the story telling in the sequel trilogy to say rey isn't a Mary sue, her interactions with Vader are enough to show that she really isn't as strong or brave as the ST makes her out to be. Kylo was one kind of threat. Vader would utterly dominate Rey and I am glad they confirm that.

Ciphy Master of Media I was in a hero vs villain match went on a crazy kill streak with Rey. About 15 kills in I strafed past Vader, he turned looked dead at Rey and said ‘ I sense your power...’ I was also using Reys yellow lightsaber. I think maybe with that equipped at a high level, matches with Rey becoming much more powerful at the end of Rise Of Skywalker.

Say what you will about how the sequel trilogy is being handled, but I think it’s pulled off much better in this game. Seeing as how it’s essentially a giant sandbox, people can craft their own stories and plotlines with all these characters. You could also, in headcanon, rewrite these characters entirely. Like, Rey actually having formal training, and exploring how Kylo and the First Order rose to power, then boot up the game, and watch those ideas play out on the screen as a giant battle is going on around you.
