This was 3 bedroom and a service room with a small bathroom, 2 full bathrooms. Since it was in a nice area and a big apartment it was $400 US but i only stayed for 6 months i believe. you can find much cheaper! @oneplussies67085 жыл бұрын
You do realize these are D.R resident prices right? If you are a non resident you will get scammed into paying higher for sure. Now let's take a closer look at his 3rd world accommodations... What caught my eye immediately was no A/C. That's pretty much standard in that area for apts unless u can afford a window unit. Another thing to keep in mind is rolling blackouts which are still rampant in that area. And lastly... Crime! Only locals live in that vicinity. As a non resident you are courting theft if you even attempted to live in the area. Here endeth the lesson.
@MillsRepDom5 жыл бұрын
i have expat friends paying the same prices. He did have a lot of furniture they just moved out, and with dans you honestly don’t really need AC, at least I don’t personally. he said the blackouts are not very often at all anymore, and if you’re concerned about crime you just don’t walk around at night or be dumb with possessions. however he is happy and that makes me happy.
@oneplussies67085 жыл бұрын
@@MillsRepDom omg...and you find all these restrictions normal? I'm Dominican and I know first hand why I stopped living the 3rd world lifestyle. You are living in a dream where you think living in such conditions is normal. What kind of person rationalizes local crime? Who the hell lives in the Caribbean and accepts living with a fan in that kind of heat? Who in God's good earth accepts rolling black outs? Your liberal sense of being will be the end of you.
@MillsRepDom5 жыл бұрын
One Plussies lmao first of all i’m fine. he rarely has blackouts if at all anymore because it’s improved so much. i myself don’t ever have a blackout, there is an AC where i live but i rarely use it, like i said i personally do not need it but obviously understand why some people would. i’ve never been a victim of crime nor has he, again personal experience. i didn’t deny that there is crime and i take precautions but there is crime where i am from in the US too. i really don’t have that many restrictions living here at all..we live quite well actually and will return to the states soon. glad you’re happy where you are.
