Love the comparison videos. I chose the B&W because as far as I can remember they were one of the first to make a hitch with all the adjustment capabilities. I like the tight tolerances on the hitch, though at times as you said, they can be too tight and the pins are hard to get back into position. Other than that, it’s great. With the trailers I tow, the many different adjustment holes made it easy to get the perfect height adjustment and also, I typically am able to leave it at one height, and only have to swap the ball size when towing different trailers.

Bullet Proof for the win !!!!

Worth noting the bullet proof has the most versatility to size. Bullet proof makes many attachments. That’s why I went with it you can tow any trailer with the full kit. You can also do it with the geny but the attachments take up much more space in storage.

Hey JD - Can you make a playlist for these videos and the videos you did on your smaller cargo trailer? Thank you for all the great content!

JD, I’d love to see an oil analysis video on the F-450 now that it has some notable mileage on it. Just to kinda give folks an idea what they can expect out of their HD pickups after towing like yours has most of its life.

Hi, I picked up a Gen Y & I’m loving it so far. I knew with the new suburban & how much taller it is, I’d need a drop hitch.

For me I went with the B&W for the stowability and for just overall simpliicty. The other positive to it is that although someone could actually swipe the pins out of it, they can't actually take the ball like they could on just about all the rest of the options you reviewed. Assuming you put a locking pin on the actual hitch, for the Gen - Y or most others you need an additional locking pin that just adds to the mix if your paranoid about things. In the end a hitch is basically a hitch and all of them will get the job done. Other thing to note, on the B&W you don't need to move the ball position if you have the longer drop version. If they could incorporate a pin hole in between the hitch balls on the 2 ball setup like Gen -Y has, I still think it would best overall setup to be able to have pin style farm trailers, 2 or 2 5/16" and pintle all in one tight and simple package.

Difficulty Installing the pin on that hitch around 9 min... When the hitch is on the truck just install the top pin and step on it to compress the rubber and insert the pin. My 13 year old daughter can do it.

Over a year ago I bought the weigh safe that doesn't have the scale built in. No problems what so ever. I tow almost daily.

The 1st one shouldn't be in this comparison, it's not height adjustable, therefore, you shouldn't tow a multiple axle trailer.
