If the gear is fun, make a video! Your joy here was obvious. Don't apologize. I like seeing people get creative and come up with workarounds. My wife got me one of these as a gift if I get an expected promotion this year (fingers crossed). It's sitting in her office, fresh in the box. Just waiting there. I am going crazy!

WHOA... WAIT, WAIT, WAIT... I had to stop and reread that. Your wife "got you one of these as a gift IF you get a promotion", and she's keeping it in her office... holding it there... and you're going crazy? Uh... WOW. OK... first, you need to get your wife something like a bottle of $350 perfume and tell her if she loses 10 kilograms and firms up her rear end she'll get the fragrance. You START with that. No, actually, you know what? TWO WRONGS DON'T MAKE A RIGHT. Man... I don't even know how to begin... First... you're not a CHILD. Adults who respect each other don't treat each other that way. What she's doing is HIGHLY DISRESPECTFUL and PATRONIZING. You don't gate acts of kindness to your life partner behind a condition of achievement. Don't you know that? Don't you see how messed up this is? This woman needs to APOLOGIZE to you, give you the KO now, and then she needs to go into therapy. Actually, you both probably need couples counseling. Seriously, SERIOUSLY, don't you see how messed up this is? Man... you don't let anyone treat you that way. This is what a parent does with a child: "If you get an "A" in math, we'll get you a new bicycle." Dude... COME ON... don't put up with this... you're groveling if you allow anyone to treat you that way. Tell her to shove the KO, tell her YOU WORK, and go BUY YOURSELF ONE. Honestly, I would divorce someone like her so quickly it would make her head spin.
@dmcinnis23
@dmcinnis23 2 ай бұрын
My dude. It is beyond staggering how much you assumed about something as simple as a gift, and how insulting and blatantly misogynist you are being to my WIFE in a public forum. I asked her to hold onto it until the (very much expected) promotion comes. It was my idea. I already have more gear than I need and I wanted it to celebrate when the time comes. Keep it positive. @@Berus7777

This is such a good video! A lot to love here. More KO II videos with your non-cynical perspective would be great! I’m expecting my KO II in a couple of weeks and just need to decide on one (and only one) mini synth to pair with it to give me a mini portable setup. I think the Micromonsta is now in the running. I just need to make a decision vs the Microfreak, NTS-1, or add a keybed with Minifreak or Minilogue or Blofeld… Ahhh!

Can you record your movements assigned to the FX and play them back? or can you stop and play the last one audio result obtained with fx? because I would like to pick up the guitar at a certain point and have the last audio result obtained in play. @@d3tuned378 Awesome! It's great device speaks to you. I had tons of fun some time back when got OP-Z. Which I still have, it also has punch-in FX (with recording them and showing on your phone screen). Though after years I really downsize use of handheld device for idea catching, making some new hook, melody line, mock-up a song. Therefore always look for "simplest" device for that (and soon enough start complaining small device is not versatile enough LOL). KO went back to a store for very simple obstacle - only 3x4 pads (at least 16 notes), I skipped Yamaha.... have Push 3, but controller. I do keep OP-Z because like step "sequencers" in a small tangible form. Maybe will try Polyend Play+...... maybe just keep making music with a mouse or Korg Gadget on iPhone 😆
