I have both. One other small consideration....while they are not waterproof, the Stellar provides a little better protection because the upper toe area and over the top of the foot is leather, while the Valsetz is cloth.

I have these as well, both in 2 sets and with the side zips. I use the stellar for “outside airsoft” use and the valsetz for everyday use but mostly the gym. Great video!

I got the Mid Leather version of the Valsetz for hiking. Gives my Merrell Moab 3 a strong run for its money.

I've worn both boots. I will add that the stellar tacs shown are not available anymore. The valsetz are still made and UA outlets are selling them for $75 now. They are called the valsetz 1.5 version. The valsetz micro G being the new version.

@@chrisherron4690I know I’m VERY LATE to the conversation but the Valsetz is by far the most common boot I’ve seen in law enforcement, me and half my shift wear them, the deputies wear them, the local town PD’s wear them, they’re great

Is there a millimeter drop on the heel? Do the feet sit flat with the surface or is the heel higher than the forefoot?

No but I tried the new Bates Tactical that has that heel drop. They got it right. Unfortunately I didn't like the lacing system but it appears the boot industry is heading in the right direction.

So, I would say these UA Valsetz are pretty good, probably one of my top choices whenever it comes to the most comfortable tactical boots. There is a new version Micro G of Valsetz which, in my opinion, is even better.
