I've tried corrector and concealer and it seems to be ok at the start but then looks worse by the end of my work day. I've tried ur great tips but because I'm new to makeup, should I invest in better products? I'm trialing hence why I'm using pharmacy products at the moment. My skin is dry but pretty good overall - I try not to wear foundation (live in sunny Australia) as it gets super hot in the summer. Just want to cover dark under eyes without too much make-up😁 Any help would be much appreciated 👍🏽

I’m in my thirties now and I’m noticing that make-up is clinging to my natural creases more. I also have really bad dark circles, so the double whammy! I’ve been watching other videos on how to conceal them and sit here confused at how they get it to look flawless and mine just look horrendous, and didn’t even think about the age of the people or the difference in skin. This video has been really helpful. And if I can get mine to look like how yours looked even at the end of the day, I’ll be thrilled!

I'm 29 and I suffer with this. I started just focusing on the inner corner too. I Love watching holly boon, cocochic and all the others but I'm very aware they've had work done and I don't want to go down that route. I Love how natural looking you are. You look very good for 34!! Your stunning and it's nice to see a real woman. A lot of the other you tubers especially American are giving this advice but have had fillers... so I don't find helpful xx

What I do is use less product/always use a concealer brush (I use the black, medium sized one from elf) to dip into your powder and swipe on your wrinkles right at the end of your makeup routine. It seems to work for me!

Hi Charlotte. Love your undereye tips. I do the same with my makeup. Also I don’t have much wrinkles around my eyes, I’ve used eye creams since I was 20. I’m older now and most people don’t believe that I’m actually older than my age. The eye cream I love is “Thank You Farmer”. It’s the best that I have found which is affordable and it works. I’ve used 3Lab eyecream and used up two pots and they cost a lot but they work but the cost is jut ridiculously expensive. I’m binge watching your videos. Love love your videos ❤️

As a 30+ I can really recommend using the Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream as an under Eye Concealer. My lines just vanish like nothing. Retouching at the end of the day is easy. It glides onto the skin like nothing else. I pair it with the new Parure Gold Skin Matte Foundation from Guerlain for the rest of my face, the Méteorites Powder Pearls and then some Pillow Talk Beauty Wand Highlighter on the Cheeks. Ppl started saying things like your skin looks so healthy. I always answer: this is the magic of a good make-up. :)

You’re absolutely correct! I worked for the best dermatologists and plastic surgeons in Beverly Hills/Malibu and skincare every day and night is essential. NEVER sleep with makeup. And wait between layers of skincare on your face and before doing makeup. If it pills up on your face, it’s NOT the product! You applied too much too fast.

i'm 19 and have sooo many lines on my under eyes (both hereditary wrinkles and from the fact that i hated wearing my glasses as a kid and went around squinting all the time). on top of that, i've got acne-prone combo skin, oily eyelids, and dry under eyes, so finding a good concealer for me is really just throwing makeup/skincare at a wall and hoping it sticks as of late i've just been doing the thing where i conceal and then apply some brown eyeshadow to my lower lid to make it less noticible

Hi Charlotte. This video popped up on my feed for some reason today. I am 51 with the usual lines and wrinkles of course so I decided to watch your video and I'm doing that still right now. I just had to tell you that drinking water does not hydrate your skin. If you are dehydrated your skin won't look its best because your body is not in the condition is supposed to be in. Anything to do with poor health can affect the look of your skin. So I hope you have learned since you made this video that you have to hydrate the skin from the outside. I'm going to finish watching it now. Thank you for posting this.

I disagree, while drinking water doesn't necessarily 'moisturise' your skin, I've personally noticed a huge difference to the look and feel of my skin when I'm drinking enough water, how plump, how luminous etc. It aids digestion, eininates toxins, all very important for our health and skin. Our skin is 64% water and therefore its essential for our health and skin health to drink plenty of water and be hydrated inside and out! Xx

You absolutely said when you wake up in the morning your skin is dehydrated and to hydrate your skin from the inside out by drinking water. I was trying to help you by telling you that is not possible. Btw most people do not wake up dehydrated or with dehydrated skin. That is false. Dehydration is a medical diagnosis measured by a blood test and usually requires IV fluids replacement...and I did say usually. When you take on a role as as the beauty guru who is going to give skin care advice it is imperative that you give factual information. You should be willing to listen to someone who may know more than you do about something. I won't be watching you again.

I’m 31 with four kids so lots of stress on the face. I have pretty bad fine lines under my eyes not to dark but a bit. I love Lancôme effacernes waterproof concealer my #1 and it does not crease nearly and every thing creases on me that and the tart Maricuja last all day when u set it but the London’s I don’t have to set and it stays. Also the double wear concealers are so nice. Dermablend is my favorite loose powder and the it loose one also hourglass then Laura M one and then lock it. But depends on concealer which powder I use. Loved the video try the Lancôme one I’ll one it Angie from hot and flashy inspired my purchase. So with it.

If you keep a little organic jojoba oil in like a contact lens container... you can use the teeniest amount ... like dip finger in and then tap most off on your hand and the rest lightly tap on the top of the concealer. Totally removes creases for us older ladies. Got this tip from Beauty and the Boutique on KZbin

The MAC pro longwear is hands down the best that I’ve ever used and I’m super oily, have tons of under eye creasing. Although, over time I did notice my pores getting clogged under my eyes… Pores I had no idea I even had! That’s when I stopped using it . I think I am gonna go back to it because I still haven’t found a concealer that doesn’t crease on me. Yes, ive tried using several and tried all the different ways to apply them and they still crease 😩

Urban Decay naked concealer covers pretty well, the consistency is light and it was the least creasing I have used in years! I am 35 do struggle with creasing bc of wrinkles so I absolutely love it maybe it works for you.. thank you for this video

I use a cream color corrector (comes in a yellow or pink base color same as concealer colors) in the tear trough area and I love it, it dries down to where I need no powder under my eyes which I despise anyway, doesn’t crease and looks good all day, I put a couple dots of concealer under the trough area for brightness.

My favourite powder (which I actually much prefer over the Laura Mercier) is the Technic setting powder, which I bought for a few dollars off Boohoo. Another tip I find really works, is I use a Q-tip to gently and lightly remove any excess concealer that's creased or settled into my lines :)

I am also 34 and we have similar undereye area. The wrinkles or fine lines aren’t horrible without makeup, but on me no matter what product I use it just instantly ages me and I HATE it! Have you tried the Giorgio Armani Master Corrector? I find it’s a very thin formula that does amazing with color correction so I don’t have to wear as much concealer. Have you tried Bye Bye Undereye? It has a glowy finish (like the Revolution Pro and the same with only needing a little) so it does need powder but it seems quite flattering. The Essence and Nyx concealers mixed work for me but my undereye is very dark and it's hard to compromise cover with no lines/dryness.

Even though I’m only 18, I’ve always had pretty intense lines under my eyes and it’s a genetic thing because both my parents were like that when they were younger. Not only that but I have really dry skin so I get mega crocodile under eyes! But I feel a little more confident in being able to put makeup on with your advice~! I even did a makeup course and we covered so much but we never really touched on everyday issues that a lot of people have like fine lines! Maybe because my teacher is an avid user of Botox...? I never would have thought to stretch my face like that before but it’s genius. Also, I’m running out and getting that makeup revolution concealer this week ( it looks so smooth on you) and I have yet to find a concealer that doesn’t look all gloppy, dry and gross on me. Have you ever tried the Urban decay Velvetizer to set your under eyes? It’s the smoothest/silkiest powder I have ever found but it darkens my under eyes a bit. I’m curious if the Patrick Star powder is comparable.

I think also applying a tiny amount of oil to this type of high coverage super dry concealers can help. Also, dabbing some after setting with powder, but after removing some excess once you dip your finger on that one drop of oil. Hope this tip also helps.

I don't know of any concealers with SPF!! You wouldnt apply enough to get protection so you're better of using SPF on it's own before makeup x

Hi Charlotte, I just found your channel and I LOVE how honest you are. I'm 37, fair skin tone and oily skin. I have so much trouble with my under eyes-fine lines/wrinkles and dark circles. I tried Botox under my eyes and it didn’t work on my loose crepey skin and wrinkles and when they put it just under my crows feet onto the sides of my cheeks where I’m getting crepey wrinkles when I smile I looked like a chipmunk it distorted my face when I smiled and took a couple weeks for that disfigured clownish look to go away. I think the only way to improve the under eye area at almost 50 is with fillers or surgery, both of which I’m afraid of the results so I just am trying to learn to accept myself as I am. But these concealer tips helped and so far the least drying and creasing I get is with Chanel’s concealer or NARS radiant or Lancôme concealer in the tube but they don’t cover as well as the full coverage ones like Tarte or Two Faced BTW full coverage concealers that dried my skin and made my wrinkles more pronounced and cracked and dry looking crepey mess.

Fillers work wonders under the eye. They smooth out wrinkles and eliminate dark circles. A lot of people get it done and pretend it’s natural.

I've found at 40 and trying a lot of makeup that using a water gel moisturizer and a small amount of face oil under helps a lot with my concealer and foundation looking youthful and radiant.

I wonder (because a year has passed) have you changed your products\views etc.? Have you ever used a corrector? I HAVE to use a yellow one as my dark circles are quite pronounced (health and lack of sleep) so it becomes layer upon layer. Also, I'm 58, which makes a huge difference 😂😂😂. xxx
