Good video. I got some rat clips that will work with those 1 1/2 in open water and under ice. Also in the next month or so will have the coni clips that can be used on 3/8 poles. No more h stands

this helped me a lot. Put some sets out today in some runs in a marsh hope to catch some rats tomorrow we had ice so it helped me identify the runs and dens. thanks for the video

Great idea using the lathe with the H-stand. Thank you for the valuable tip.

great videos, but I wonder, have you ever used orange tape or trail flagging for baits? I heard it's a good substitute for carrots since muskrats only use their eyes in the water and thus anything orange will look appetizing. it'll last longer and never need to be replaced as long as it's not torn away.

No wonder this is so popular! Great video - thank you for time for sharing.
@jjkostal12 жыл бұрын
@nickfinns it all depends on your state laws and you'll have to chop through the ice and when doing so be careful not to damage the trap they are very bendable and you might have to adjust so the door will still open

Thanks, Great Video keep them coming.

@paradokz Dude, Muskrats sometimes cause problems for people who own shoreline. Its effective, and it works. besides, the guy said he only did one side of the lake, and muskrats reproduce very quickly.
@MrMatt525212 жыл бұрын
I know this might sound dumb but how do you know if muskrats are in the pond before you set traps do you scout or do you just assume that they are there? Thanks
@jtschid091012 жыл бұрын
Are the muskrats always using the collapsed bank dens or do they abandon them after they collapse?
@MrDeadeye77711 жыл бұрын
so when u put those 110s out do you just put them out above a run or just on a bubbel spot by a feader den.

Thanks man I'll unlock the new channel I'm looking forward for upcoming season trapping videos

What if you did the board set with a 110 conibear instead of a coil spring? You could nail a bracket mount and attach it that way?

There is no problem with hunting so long as you do not over hunt and he is deliberately staying away from over hunting. I feel like half these people commenting are from greenpiece or something. Humans hunt to survive. Maybe you didn't know but the stuff that makes you bigger and stronger, meat, comes from living things. So boo hoo f-ing Egypt today tons of cows, chickens, and pigs died today because of you. So what, you need to eat. Plus common sense, why search these kind of videos when your
