@@Ukyoprime I vividly remember one of the devs saying that they were trying to implement it on twitter and then continue to go on about how it's very difficult to do since they are doing it themselves and don't really have backup from Arcsys. I might be remembering this somewhat wrong but I know for a fact that he said that they were trying and that it was difficult.

Somehow, UNI might be the only fighting game that could still make get me hyped for a sequel/DLC without rollback (now that BBCF has it). It's just that sick. Hopefully it won't be the case, given MBTL, but we'll see.

@@Caleb-zl4wk it is though, the tutorial is great and the combo trials dont give you crazy optimal combos from the get go but gradually build you up to them. It was my first fg I put real effort into learning and playing with very little previous experience and I still learn new things and tech in the game pretty often.

But no fighting game with online multiplayer like… that… is going to match people up against others their skill level, for example. It’s about as close as it gets but fighting games as far as I see them can’t really be beginner friendly, because you have to just grind. Like that’s all it is, no matter the game.

Really fun tournament, thanks for sharing! Uni seems super fun, pretty fast-paced and I love the element of having to manage the grid or whatever, it looks super interesting. If it had rollback I'd pick it up, but I'm pretty far out here so I think I'll wait until the next entry comes out.

I'm relatively crappy player (99% of my FG experience is offline against CPU, though I at least started defaulting to harder difficulties lately). I rarely get what's cool about some of these matches (skill too low to realize importance of what's going on) but for some reason, that Mario vs Remi fight ended up as one of my favorites (the fact that I like how UNI looks and I think over half the roster simply looks cool may make me a bit biased however).
