Seriously can it get any better than that! I bet even in a hundred years that people will still be playing and thinking of these two guys as two of the finest singers in perfect harmony. The song itself is up there on its own as one of the great songs of all time at 31/100. God rest their souls and I’ve no doubt their music will live forever!

You'd be surprised how much a good quality microphone effects sound quality. No, it won't "fix" you if you're pitchy, but it sure can add "color" and dynamics.

oh, i can't stop the tears. words and music and love are the three most potent constructs we wield as human beings in our struggle for life on this planet. these men exemplify that and what it means to be singers and songwriters and they should never be forgotten. the anniversary of FM's death just passed and that is actually how i ended up at this beautiful page- as we all kno one click leads to another and so on ;) so i just wanted to thank you, while i was here, for your absolutely wonderful contribution to the memories of these legendary performers. they are sorely missed, irreplaceable and incomparable members of our human family, and the lyrics to this song say so much, so well, especially with the instrumentals stripped away. great choice, good job- thank you

It's well lifted post production tracks. The only detectable tweaks are reverb and David's vibrato is obviously mechanical. Amazing to hear ❣️

I got to see both of these men in concert. I still have both ticket-stubs too. They both cost $8.00 & I can remember both concerts! Not the case with every concert I have seen.

Not really acapella, obviously the engineer removed the musical embellishments and we are just hearing the vocals from the studio recording. The vocals are enough, though.
