"Pure gold"??? They did nothing but rag on people more talented & more famous then they ever will be. Least creative Rewatchable in the history of the Rewatchables. I love BS that's why I'm so disappointed in this episode. U can be better Bill, c'mon.

Why you talk nonsense like that? Before posting such nonsense, you have to do some research. Stuntman Steven Lambert was there and saw what happened. LeBell didn´t choke out Seagal at all. Secondly, watch the Gene LeBell memoriam here on youtube. Gene´s personal assistant came up on stage and told what really happened and guess what he told everybody in that audience, which included LeBell´s family and friends? He also said that Seagal wasn´t choked out at all. All lies, all made up by the stuntmen community because they hated Seagal. So please, don´t post such nonsense, when you don´t know what you´re talking about! Or watch the Gene LeBell memoriam on youtube.

He didn´t. Watch Gene LeBell´s memoriam on youtube. At minute 38 they tell what really happened between Seagal and LeBell and Seagal wasn´t choked out at all. All lies.

Their comments about Erica's topless scene are so true for guys of a certain age. I was 19 by the time Under Siege came out but when I was younger, my friends and I would find movies in TV Guide that were labeled to contain nudity or sexual situations and you might watch an entire movie for those moments - think Just One of the Guys. It was a far different time!

Early Seagal films were actually pretty passable to pretty damn good, but this is easily one of the most entertaining nineties action flicks that actually competes with other great action flicks of the time. Love that Rewatchables folks have done an episode on it.

Under Seige 2 was so quotable and a great experience with me and my boys as 19 and 20 year olds. Literally laughing out loud in the premise as a cook on a train, a cook on a space ship, a cook in a kitchen to the term dark territory being code word for going on a drive cruising for girls to the term casey fucking ryback. Great stuff

Bill Simmons apparently doesn't know what "Dreadnaught" means and why it was originally named that. This movie takes place on a battleship, and Dreadnaughts are the classic class of British battleships from early 20th century, widely known as the first modern class of battleships in history, to the point where "dreadnaught" is synonymous with "battleship".

1993 was Last Action Hero. Famously pitted against Jurassic Park due to Columbia Pictures having full faith that Schwarzenegger could topple any competition after the mega success of Terminator 2. Schwarzenegger claims he begged them to push the release date, but Columbia wouldn't budge. It's a shame because LAH is one of Arnold and McTiernans' best. Thankfully, it is starting to get the credit that it deserves.

IMO Jones had a real break out role in Lonesome Dove, alongside one of the ATG's in Robert Duvall. And an amazing supporting cast with Diane Lane, Anjelica Huston Rick Schroder, Danny Glover, Robert Urlich, who delivered probably his best on screen performance, the ever reliable Chris Cooper and a fair few others including a young Steve Buscemi, DB Sweeney and Margo Martindale. A great series.

Yeah, Lonesome Dove might be the best miniseries ever. Also, don't forget Frederick Forrest as "Blue Duck", the half-breed outlaw--an awesome cast. Even the guy who played the psycho outlaw "Bloody Dan" was great in his small amount of scenes.

Hearing this movie broken down reminds me of something that time has proven true without fail... If you don't have a compelling villain to counter an intolerable or largely nothing happening hero, your movie will likely suck. If we don't have Tommy Lee and Busey crushing it as the two headed villainous duo, I think this movie craters cause Segal was largely whatever. Nobody hits him. He is really dry. Segal played the creative control card like he was Hogan and I swear, I can't unsee it now with any of his OG action flicks. Now that I think about it, I think Machete was the first time anyone actually landed a blow on him in any way much less KILL HIM. Loved this Rewatchable. Kept me laughing throughout.

15:55 - Tommy Lee Jones actually got his feet wet in the action genre back in 1985 with a little-known Canadian-made movie called 'The Park is Mine'. It is basically a rip-off of 'First Blood' with Jones playing the central Rambo-like anti-hero. It's actually not that bad a flick. I think it also was the first movie made for HBO.
