What a great use of under-the-stairs space! I'm glad you have your pretty glassware in the kitchenette cabinets & you might use them more often. I can hardly wait until we get to see all the wonderful storage solutions in your utility room! I know you must feel so proud to have accomplished such huge reorganizing tasks. I'm sure those silver CD bins will come to good use... maybe under sinks in guest bath/powder room... winter gloves/hats/scarves... in the craft room closet... so many options!

I had them up in the mudroom for a few years & then I moved them to the basement for the last two & hated it. We have a lot of storage space in our mudroom & I like having them in there better

Love watching your organizing videos! My under the stairs closet has a door that leads to the garage so I will work on it when I organize the garage. I have created "zones" that I organize each week. I begin in September and end around the third week of October.The remaining weeks before the holidays are for upkeep and doing holiday related things.This is my yearly attempt to being organized for the holidays.Some years it works,some years it doesn't,but at least I give it my best. Aloha!

p.s. -Also excited to see what you've done with your throw blankets. We have a bench by the door with storage in it where I have been keeping ours for the living room, but we had our first house guest and I was thinking it might be more convenient to have them in the open so guests can take them as needed without me having to notice they are chilly and offer them. So, can't wait to see how you organize yours! :)

Made my first trip to the Container Store. Oh, my, it's dangerous. I could have bought TONS but seriously didn't, pending measurements, purging, etc. Once I reduce what I have to what I need, THAT'S when I'll buy what I need. I did splurge on the magnetic clips for my planner and some business card page protectors for my Whole House Binder that is my current project.

I'm so jealous of your closet. My under the stair closet is much smaller. There is a skinny short part and then there is a part where it's just a hole in the wall and you have to bend over to get into that space. It sucks! I just keep all my seasonal items in the closet

Actually, her mudroom is right next to the kitchen so personally I think it makes more sense to have the Christmas dishes stored there then all the way down in the basement.

I wouldn't put the Christmas dishes in the mudroom. It doesn't seem practical. Something that takes up that much space and that you only use a small amount of time of the year should be some where easy to access, but out of the way.
