Never going to build this for the table saw, but it is intriguing as a starting point for a drill press table.

He built a graceful method for adjusting height. For a slightly easier method: For each leg, use 2 square tubes. Have one tube slide inside the other so they telescope. Drill the inside tube with regularly spaced holes along it's length. Some stores will have such tubing pre-perforated. Drill 2-4 holes in outside tube at distances equal to half the spacing using on the inside tube. This will let you telescope the length of the leg height in 1/2 space increments. The top end of the leg can have a threaded end for fine-tuning length.
