I met one of the guys who co-wrote this song. His name is Artie. He told me that when he heard The Stones' version of it (played here, from 1964), his response was: "Those guys will never last".

Artie is still alive (the last I heard). Ironically perhaps, the last time I saw him was in Atlantic City, just off the you-know-what.
