UNDER THE CAPE | Deep Jigging.

In this video I'm back out with Prestige Fishing dropping some baits underneath the cape. We're fishing the waters off Cape Moreton in search of the common species that inhabit the region of South East Queensland. It's not like fishing the southern waters of The Great Barrier Reef but with hard work and perseverance we manage to come across a few quality fish for this region. With a mix of bait fishing techniques and lures there is bound to be a few tip and tricks that will help you catch more fish in these heavily pressured waters next time you're out this way.

Lures always seem to trigger a nice predatory reaction out of the bigger fish. It’s inevitable that they’ll get bit sooner or later.

I recently came back from a 2 week mission up north. I found traditional plastics way more effective than the Squidtrex.

Yeah I’ve found days will vary and bites throughout the day will change but if you can get a plastic down to the depths the fish they always seem to get eaten mate.
