I like this module a lot, but you're such a talented arranger/patcher that you could make any module sing. I don't get things this cool out of the nautilus lol.

Still good advice, tbh. It's easy to want one of everything in modular, but unless you're so rich you don't care, you still have to figure out which things are really going to fit into your workflow and which things are cool and sound great but aren't a priority for the way you make music.

Reminds me a little bit of the Chronoblob delay unit in VCV Rack, but of course it seems to extend quite a bit into a wider range of sonic territory and what a gorgeous panel, I really want to get into hardware modular and I will definite get a few Qu-bit modules.

Ever since messing with vcvs I now finally got this as my first ever eurorack module in combination with the moog grandmother I already have. This thing is so much fun to play around with and opened seemingly infinite possibilities with the grandmother. I do agree with some points I see in the comments, saying you shouldnt buy gear just because its "trendy" and "hot on the market" but after some hours on hours thinking about it, it was a tie between this one and the ghost, since my reason to go more modular is to achieve sounds i could hardly achieve in a daw, I went with this one. The Nautilus is really sweet and NO I DO NOT POST THE FUCKING THING ON IG OR REDDIT YALL ARE INSANE!!!

Great video as ever Jeremy! Really sold after the jam, it's great to hear module run downs with a really varied amount of music in different styles, not everyone does that and I think it's needed to truly hear how a module can shine. I've decided to pick one up as I don't have a dedicated delay. Loved the sound of the vert legio, sounded almost polyphonic, was the intro melody all coming from one module? 🤩

@@RedMeansRecording Wow! High praise, I know it's one of your favorites.
@RedMeansRecording2 жыл бұрын
@@g1rlchild it really is. Mostly due to the reverse and reverb. The halo effect on mimeophon is not a great reverb, so I think an fx aid going into Nautilus would be a very powerful and great sounding combo
