I really have no idea what kind of women you know but personally I know my best girl friends for 20 years, some of friends about 10 years. We've got through many difficult circumstances together, always been for each other, sometimes even more helpful and supportive than our own families. From childhood to adulthood and now we support children as well, since we are their aunties. Toxic and competitive behaviours don't depend on gender. It depends on your character and values you learned and grew up with.

I started as an HVAC journeyman not too long ago. During the beginning as an Installer/sheet metal, I would get shit on and 100% my foremen talked shit behind my back until I shadowed under this HVAC service tech. Cool dude and kept his cool while out a service call and everyone likes him! I remember fucking up on brazing some linesets at an install and like the guys in the video, he said its a learning experience and has been that road before. He just gave me a pat on the back and told me I’ll get there like him. I train green guys at new HVAC construction and don’t let my anger or give them shit like my previous foremen did. I explain everything in detail and if they got it wrong, I’ll tell them its okay and can show them how to hang or put together ductwork and suggest to do it this way or their own way without being a dick about it. I’m days away from becoming a foreman for this new job and promise myself to treat my crew right. 🖤

I am a superintendent for a construction company, and I always tell my new helpers this. There are two kinds of people in the world, those that screw up, and those that don't try. If any of my guys get on you for screwing up something you are trying to learn, just let me know. Everybody has to learn it the irst time, and screwing up the thousandth time you do it is still a learning experience.

If this guy is who I think he is (And he said he was near Flagstaff, I know that area in particular...) I think my dad worked with this guy. That guy (the boss NOT the CEO) was actually very abusive to my father and treated my dad like shit. He knew about this whole undercover boss gig coming and made my dad do some shit maintenance gig while trying to "pretend" to be a good person so he could get money from the CEO, while our family was struggling with any job to survive and live.

You would think the camera man might be giving away the whole thing. What employee would see a camera man walking around with him/her and think NOTHING of it. Especially since Undercover Boss has had multiple seasons. If it was me, it would 'add up' really quickly and I would 'go along with it', knowing what's about to come down.

You should always aim to be kind, it's the best way to go through life. But I can't agree with the sentiment that it always pays off. People that say that have lived a privileged life (in the grand scheme). Even if your poor in one of the richest countries in the world, you're privileged. Mind you, I'm not saying you don't have troubles or a right to complain. If you're poor, you're poor and life sucks. Or if you're unhealthy. But hey at least you don't have to walk for kilometers evwry day just to drink some dirty water... Just saying, there are some really kind people living through wars and poverty....doesn't always pay off for them. Sometimes it does, but sadly not always.

That employee teaching manual work the undercover boss was like his older brother. We have the same reality show in Czech Republic. Things are usually different here.The employees doing some hard labour like this for 20 years teaching the undercover boss for the first day are like „this dude wont make it“ or „why I do have to work with him god damn it“
