Hey guys, So i recently decided to try to do some PUG raids, and accidentally ran into this really interesting group title... so today we're going back in time to go Undercover on Mythic Raszageth, but in 10.2 - It was a really fun group, with an incredibly good vibes leader, and there's a good potential of a part 2 of us doing a heroic viewer raid if you are interested - hope you enjoy!

​@@Cr3w96To be fair, it's hard in a community that's as used to minmaxing and professionalization as WoW's. Especially if you don't already have a set group of people that are also casual it's easy and sometimes not really avoidable do get drawn into this mindset. Even if you do rather simple content like low M+ keys, once you join some randoms there are immediate expectations forced upon you. The best way to get around this is to have a guild that's on the same wave length as yourself, but that's easier said than done, especially if you're maybe not part of the English speaking community. I quite WoW at some point last spring to return to Guild Wars 2 and no matter what you think about the game itself, the community's mindset is diametrically different from WoW's. GW2 also has Mythic+, it's called Fractals and they actually invented the concept, Blizzard ripped it off years later. People are SO MUCH more chill. If you're a noob who happens to join a group of veterans, they are happy to meet a new face whom they can teach the ins and outs of the Fractal instead of kicking you for bad gear or wrong build. Wiping a couple times doesn't phase anyone. GW2 still lives the mentality that, "it's just a game, bro!" Each server region has its own huge training group for raids, I think the NA one is called "Crossroads", for example. Where veterans banded together to actually form entire academies to teach people about raiding and motivate new players to try it out free of pressure and expectations. My current guild even has their own miniature version of this, running two internal training raids every week. We hold community events every few days where we enjoy ourselves instead of only meeting once a week for an evening of raids and complaining about bad loot. I totally understand how that's not great for people who really want to do hardcore progression stuff and actually perform to the best of their ability whilst being actually challenged time and time again. But there are a lot more people that leave WoW literally traumatized and if they can muster the courage to try out a new game like GW2 or FF14, they're so fucking scared of messing up and getting ripped apart by their group mates. Therefore I do believe that it's good for people to know that there are totally different communities out there where you're always welcome as long as you're a non-toxic, decent human being. Just so everyone can choose what suits them best without having to have those negative experiences in the first place.

This is the kind of player you would love to have on for discussion on the Poddy C or similar. Somebody who doesn't look up guides, streams or anything, and just does the content natty. These kinds of people are a silent majority, and it's a treat to play with them and hear about their experiences. They are usually some of the nicest people you can find in the game.

I've watched your undercover raid leads for a while, but this one just took the cake for me. Higher-end content in the game can be really, really intimidating to get into, especially for people who can only devote a few hours a week into the game. Seeing you being so willing to invite a passionate player to a heroic reclear might be a standard day for you, but I could hear it in her voice that it meant the world to her.
