i feel like interrupting casts and soloQ overlapping interrupts is extremely common which seems like it results in the most amount of deaths to be honest i would say affixes in bossfight cluttering up your screen together with the mechanics would come second

"having the problem of lower keys where people interrupt too much is a good problem to have" as a healer main I have to agree. And also dispel. Reward dps for dispelling. If you can decurse and I'm monk and can't, it's not optional, this is a 13 it's not optional. You HAVE to do it. Preventing damage is always better than healing damage. When I heal on pres evoker and I kick the stray thing i get really nervous in those 4-8 keys cause now it's like ok dps you need to shape up I can't fix that again for 45 seconds, you HAVE to do it.

"idk what blizzard expects a trash pack to feel like" Actually it's obvious what the dungeon packs are supposed to feel like. It's perfectly telegraphed. The trash packs have abilities similar to the boss they precede. Think siege with the bombers and pull in guys and whirl wind, so the packs show you what to expect, so you get the boss and see the same things and some new things. And in ara kara, the stationary mini bosses all use the same abilities of the boss minus the poison (I like to imagine they removed the posion dot and replaced it with tank buster bites.) Same with every other dungeon really. And its been that way for a loooooong time, I feel like. The trash packs telegraph what to expect from the boss typically. You can think of the trash packs as being nerfed mirrors of the boss they preceed. There's some exceptions but mostly that's the deal. It should be self evident I would think but I imagine you just didn't want to spend too much time on the thought.

They do become more exclusive. I am in top like 500 monks. The community gets smaller and smaller until the people at .1% are basically ALL premades or people who know each other. I don't ever use discord and I don't want to get to know a lot of the people in idk what is probably the top .8%. I'm sure a lot of them are nice but i just want to play, listen to metal music, and have fun. And no you're wrong I think most people just continue pushing keys just because it's something to do. Most of us that are still pugging 13-14 don't care about getting the title. We just want to play and we like the challenge. There's no reward in it. I play this game cause it's my favorite game, and blizzard gave us only 2 options for post-end game content. It's high m+ keys and pvp. Mythic raid? After you've done that to CE there's no reward. There's no higher raid tier. There's nothing, that's it. Your only options are pvp and m+13 14 15 16? That's it. So unless you want to make your own fun by gold farming, roleplaying, achievement/mount/collection grinding, or whatever, there's ONLY m+ and pvp that have infinite scaling. And the communtiy at its peaks becomes more and more exclusive. I actually just prefer playing my alts in low keys for fun atp. Idk why i keep doing high push keys on my main, because 13-15 is not fun. It's not. It really isn't. Eventually you've got all your bis, you do the exact same thing (unless random rng bs like siege has happens) I just want to play my toons and I want to have fun. I'm ksh on multiple toons and your option after that is like ok do i want to push keys or make another alt and do it again? I don't find all classes fun to play for all content, so am I gonna do that and not have fun or start doing pvp (this is where i'm starting to move to) or go back and farm mounts on 10 toons every week or farm transmogs (this is where i'm at rn outside of m+) or go carry my friends through aotc or what? Blizzard didn't give us anything challenging to do besides push high keys. And lets imagine for a moment I get to all +15's timed through some miracle, I am gonna get the title for sure, etc etc. What else am I supposed to do????????? So yea that's the only reason I push it's just cause thre's not really anything to do that's challenging. I like out of bounds exploration and work on it from time to time but it can be a lot of time and no progress or you get out and explore but there's nothing really all that interesting. And it's engaging and challenging to think out of the box. M+ and pvp are like your only "ok maybe i can do a little more and go a little further." Maybe eventually they'll do like raid+ or special hard modes for raid (I liked the hard mode for heroic on court and nexus princess, for the meta achievement, they should add more stuff like that because it's fun) but meh whatever.

If I were allowed to add any spell to a class I create it would be Freezing Circle. The spell used by mobs right before the 3rd boss in Pit of Saron. It places a glyph on the ground and then slowly starts to shoot spikes up in an arc pattern. If it completes the enemy is frozen to the ground and they take heavy damage. Its the one spell I wish mages got, and was way cooler than Ring of Frost.

I don’t think the telegraphing thing needs to be difficult, just make 2 versions of the swirl, make a “we don’t care if it’s a fire attack make it obvious version” that is the most contrasty version and just change the color in the particle effect, and then change the color to what they want it to be for the “story” version, and let players pick.

Stop designing raids for the top guilds.. they said they were going to stop.. there are too many levels in gear its as bad as titan forging.. make normal and heroic a little harder and make mythic a challenge mode ilvl locks and drops cosmetics

the wall at +12 keys needs to go away. i know max had a viewer bring this up on his stream but I cannot stress enough how much this has ruined the population of pug pushers. this is the group of people that it effects; if you are queing with a premade team its not a problem, if you are going for your weekly 10 key for vault its not a problem. its a problem for pug pushers and its easy to fix. they can simply spread out the wall of 20% increased damage and health to the next 5 key levels. the high end key pushers complain about "homework" keys but if they spread that wall out from 12-16 keys this would not be a problem since they are going to get 18-19 keys at the end of a season no matter what anyways. so having 12 keys increase damage and health by 5% and 13 keys increase damage and health by 10% and so (or some other calculated increase) up through 16 keys then we remove the wall and make high end pushers happy at the same time. please please please talk about this on the poddyc since blizzard obviously take all their ideas from your podcast.

You're wrong actually, sort of. DK does have a raid buff in the same sense that monk and warlock do, they have a raid debuff. Just like curses and mystic touch the dk applies a debuff to their primary target. It's called Insidious Chill, the target of your auto attacks gains a stack of a debuff that decreases their attack speed by 5% stacking 4 times for 20%. The problem is that it's terrible, the buff falls off quickly when dk isn't in combat with the target, it's worse than the rogue's poison and warlocks curse that do the same thing both in its application method, up time, and maintenance, and *when we were able to* dks didn't bother taking this talent to raid or anything else unless it was required by group but the difference you'd realistically see from having this and not having this are virtually 0 outside of maybe pvp but on both raid bosses and pvp targets stuff like this are significantly diminished in effect anyway, otherwise you'd get a bosses auto attacks down to like once every 1 min with all the specs/classes with something like this effect and that's just *not* happening. I've long asked the developers on forums they surely never read to get rid of this talent or make a better version of it. I think it would make way more sense for the targets of our disease dots to suffer the penalty rather than our auto attacks, so that uptime feels more secure, it's easier to apply, and consistent with similar effects, but in truth I'd prefer they just replace it entirely. I believe (I would need to login and parse the trees.) I'd honestly just prefer they replace it with something like "all allies gain 2% leech and 2% haste when attacking your primary target," or "while your ghoul is summoned (dark transformation for udk since their ghoul is permanent while for the other 2 specs the ghoul is temporary,) enemies take 2% more damage from critical strikes. I mean literally anything besides a worse version of any of the curses or rogue poisons. I think that leech and haste would match the synergy of the class. Something defensive would even be good like if our AMS end of tree talent was just "while your ams is up all allies within range are affected by cc/magical effects by 15%" and just take off giving them a shield and make it raid wide. AMZ is one of the most useful are communcable DRs and on relatively short cooltime compared to others of similar effect but it's not really a raid buff. I'm falling asleeping so this might be the end for my rambles. The point is that dk has a raif de/buff it's just that it's so bad you wish you didn't have to talent it to get to the rest of your tree OR you talent it simply because it's a raid buff despite how terrible it is.

All I know is I could pug 22's and up in DF. I cannot pug a 12 in this expansion. I think the experience's are so far apart it cant even be a conversation. If I pug a 12 now I wait 30 plus mins for a group do one pull and the group breaks. I don't even get to play the game. This might happen 5-10 times in a row if your even fortunate to get in invite *specifically dungeons like SV, GB, COT and NW. That's HOURS of gameplay your just staring at your screen doing nothing. In DF sure I had to wait a bit but it was rare to just call it quits immediately in a pug group for lets say a 23. Also because of the "wall" there's 0 key diversity in IO scores. In dragonflight i might have seen someone with a timed 19 for one dungeon and a 23 for another. Now you have to pad out your io as much as you can and even then your unlikely to get and invite. So the issue compounds further, you want to push high keys but the risk on your time pushing your own key is to high. If i brick my 12 and have to wait 30-40 mins to do my 11 and then brick my 11, what im waiting 2, 3+ hours just to do the content i signed up for? Either there needs to be a harder skill check to allow people to even queue for 12s or they need to smooth the curve because there's no reason why I should be doing 600k more dps and have 10 more interrupts then the person below me in content as hard as a 12. I'm not even playing a meta class, I'm fury, 11s are just two easy to have 12s be the content that follows them. Sure the player base, as you say, is a different group of people but why do they have to be punished by the group of people that are just curious. It cultivates a toxic community where the players hate each other and have attitudes like "why even waste my time trying this content if your that bad." How do you fix it, Idk maybe keys above 10 don't deplete, or they don't deplete if you've already time that a key at that level, im really not sure. I just know what the current experience is and it sucks beyond belief by far the worse experience I've had playing the game and I've been here since Vinalla.

Honestly, removing the depletion mechanism would solve so many issues. Also, let us choose which dungeon we want to do the same way delves let us. So many are meta slaves because the penalty for failing to time is a depletion, too many deaths? gg group breaks up, etc. etc. No one wants to deal with chance or give people a chance. I think seeing how delves work, and the flexibility the offer in terms of endless repeats, has shown how out of date the M+ system is. This is made especially worse by how you're entirely at the mercy of RNG as to whether or not you: - Get gear - Get the piece you wanted delves have the same RNG, but at least you're guaranteed loot

They are made poorly with lame mechanics. Pull the boss around. Move out of the area of effect. No juice. How come my guild of thrives can’t sneak by and steal stuff in raids from the bosses dungueins or lairs or castles. Bosses are powerfull to resist control spells but maybe I’m strong enough to slow down its attacks or bind an arm or leg for a few seconds. It’s just gather an air or grind mobs till you hit bosses why not make it so those monsters drop stuff like keys I mean what type of boss just lets you roll into his lair in unlocked doors. Why no magic force fields that can be multicast together to add increases in damage midigation.

When it comes to weakauras I just don't understand how the devs reached the conclusion that broodtwister was a reasonable fight without any kind of addon solution. If they had made that entirely a private aura it would have made the entire fight undoable. Would have loved to see 20 devs try broodtwister without some kind of third party solution. Why not build in the marking of players for eggs from the get-go instead of hiding difficulty behind an addon pack? Meanwhile princess was way better designed that required essentially no addon intervention to actually do the fight.

I want to know how mythic sylvannas was made. Someone is going to start sweating bullets. Phase 1 was too long with too much dead air/simple mechanics, Phase 2 was too long, Phase 3 was the actual fight, and was excellent, but took 10 minutes to reach. That's called padding.
