GIRL!!! Killer vid. You can hang out in my garage and drink beer anytime. I just received my boxes and will be installing today. I was worried about it swinging in as well. I'm going to try and angle the mounting bracket SLIGHTLY up in the front so it swings back. Thank you for the great vid. First beer is on me.

Great Video! Was nice to see what it takes to get this installed in the Colorado. I'm really thinking about one or two of these for my truck. I also removed the storage underneath the back seat and ran a sub for additional audio. ;) Currently my storage is a locking storage bin that I just leave in the bed.

The extra washer and nut go one the top right screw, you have to remove the tail light

Great, video! Question: with the swing case in the locked position, is there enough room to put a 2x4 in those slots in the bed meant for a bed divider? (Just before the wheel well hump) or is the swing case blocking that?

Great vid. Helpful. I think extra washer and nut for install top bolt. Remove rear tail light assembly. Make sure to level hardware, that way it will stay in place when needed. U can fix that, remove and reinstall self tap screws were needed.

Directions say it is but why? I did the same as she did. What is the washer behind taillight for? How will the washer stay on a self tapping bolt with no nut?

Thank you for your input I’m thinking if you do not want it to close by itself you could mount it at a slight angle with the bottom more towards the front of the truck

Have you noticed any noises from tools in the toolbox while driving? Also, what are the four notches for on the side?

John Doe no noises but I do have mine packed pretty tightly. The notches on the left side are for the lock

So you had no issues installing directly into the bed liner? I want to get one but have spray on bed liner and worried that might cause an issue, don’t want to drop a bunch of money and not have it work perfect.

The nut and washer per instructions. Pop tail light loose 2 screws. Install washer and nut on top screw. Nice little added detail to hold it on I guess. If somebody already commented I apologize in advance I did not read all the comments.

MsNetworkCyclops, I enjoyed your easy to follow tutorial on your Colorado. I am in the EXACT position that you are. I will be taking delivery of my 2021 Colorado ZR2 in the near future. I've already purchased a subwoofer / amplifier and a subwoofer box from SubThump. Everything that is located under the back seat will have to go into my Undercover Swing Cases. You mentioned that you were planning a system as well. Did you ever get it installed? If so, does it sound pretty good or are you disappointed?
