@@KFBALL247Tank is the elite separator in this QB room. I think he will be featured more and more in this offense. Defenses tend to put their best corner on Nico, so he is the decoy. But really, CJ can hit whoever is open. He likes distributing his passes to all his receivers.

This is the only fantasy football channel that uses actual experts, including former players, to give us these detailed breakdowns that use actual play--not boxscores, or stats out of context, to help us decide who to start and pick up. Unreal value here. Other channels seem to be using their gut feelings or unfounded assumptions to rank players--pure entertainment. Appreciate you, Underdog!

YASSS! What a fucking fantastic watch, thank you guys for completely slaying this one! I love how much you guys love football. ♥ "We're talking about NFL history, Josh, watch this throw." There are few things more beautiful in this world than a top-shelf pro athlete and his team executing and performing at the absolute maximum level. It's like witnessing the finest, rarest art to see CJ Stroud look like peak Aaron Rodgers 8 games into his career in one of the flat-out greatest performances I've ever watched in any sport in my entire life. And this is just the Texans' side of things! Thanks again, fellas, you really captured the moment and conveyed the wonder and awe I felt on Sunday, it was great to relive it! I'm not even a Texans or Bucs fan, but I got as hyped as if it was a film review of 2023 Brand New Lions. I do, however, have me a mancrush on Stroud ever since what he did to Georgia in December, lol. As such, I had been targeting CJ specifically in a 12-owner competitive redraft league that I've been running for 20 years in which the superflex spot *must be filled by a rookie * (as defined as any player QB/RB/WR/TE that has not played in an NFL game prior to this season per ESPN player card Stats page). I respect how hard it is to really know how good a college player will be at the pro level, so I'm not claiming that I knew he would be this fucking great right out of the box. So I'm of course just ecstatic on several levels that I got him and that he is him. It's been an even more awesome story to follow considering the state of that franchise before this season, Ryans returning as the coach, PFF analytics guy Slowik at OC, the state of the OL and a set of skill guys that scared nobody back in early September. As a Lions fan watching our story of rags to riches unfold, I'm all-too happy to make room in my life to follow this one at the same time. Houston and Detroit both are witnessing, IMO, some of the greatest stories to unfold in NFL history - and it's so damn beautiful. All of that is to say, thank you guys for loving football as much as I do and doing great work like this to detail and provide context to CJ and the Texans' truly all-time-great performance on Sunday.

Watched every game when CJ was at Ohio State. He started slowly with lots of mistakes, but he visibly improved every game. The reason was, as his coach Ryan Day once stated, "CJ Stroud is very intelligent and absorbs coaching like he relishes it." Stroud is humble enough to invite criticism, then works his butt off to eliminate it.

His bkgd coaching defense is a huge asset. The way he coaches the offense is these are the ways the defense will react. These are our counters. CJ takes it upon himself to learn all the counters--"the answers" in every play. Slowik coached him up, but the amount of knowledge he absorbed since rookie mini-camp is due to his work ethic.

I have Stroud. And he is very exciting saying he has a bad O line. But guys realize he also has literally the easiest NFL schedule this season. As an Eagles fan, I knew Hurts had the easiest in 2022. Perfect situation to grow as an NFL QB!! Now Hurts is facing 11 playoff teams in 2023. Whole new ball of wax!!

I remember when scouts were saying since CJ scored a low 18 on the Wonderlic test, he’ll be a complete failure while Brice Young ,who scored a 98 , is guaranteed success. Look how reality turned out. It really diminished the credibility of this idiotic Wonderlic.

CJ should get bonus points in the fact that Damieyon Pierce didn’t play in this game. Dude is probably their best offensive player.

Awesome performance and 😊 on break down. I started Stroud last week. Is he a must start now. Also, U have Fields, Stroud with Kyler Murray coming off PUP, which QB should I drop or Trade? Thanks!

Start Stroud over most QBs that aren't Hurts, Mahomes, Allen or Lamar unless he has a better projected matchup than they do.

As a panthers fan and a buckeye from birth, we f’d up. Hard. Said it the day of the draft and I’ll say it til the cows come home. Stroud’s a generational player, Young’s a talented bust. He shouldn’t even have been put in this position, he’d probably develop better as a backup.

What until next year to see how successful his career will be. Once teams get a full years worth of tape on him they'll play him different. If you need an example; Russell Wilson. Besides that it's more than him, his line and receivers are playing descent football too.

i get the hype, but no one will ever have as good a rookie year as Big Ben Roethlisberger. dude went undefeated as a starter. he didnt have the flashy numbers, but he got the dub.

I truly do not know how Carolina would've drafted Bryce Young over CJ Stroud given the physical differences alone which is VITAL for the quarterback position, given that perhaps Drew Brees was the ONLY "short qb" in NFL history at 6ft to truly become an elite QB and Young is merely 5'10" & further how impressive CJ performed in the playoffs vs Georgia last year... I know for sure the Panthers will regret this for years to come ESPECIALLY given the fact they gave up so much to move up to #1 :-///

If C.J. had gone the 'right' way, the rusher would've been closer to him AND the Brown would've had less time to get downfield. Slowik was kind of vanilla in the first two games, then CJ asked to be turned losse and everything changed.
