I was shook after trying the micro needle eye patches. The effects last a few days too in my experience. I'm that annoying person in Ulta. Telling everyone they must try those. It's crazy but for older ladies make sure the eye area is flat. I didn't do that once with my crepeiness.

I like using Aveeno triple oat complex moisturizer as an eye cream. Really soothing, nicely hydrating, and doesn't trigger milia for me. Mustela soothing moisturizer works in a similar fashion but is more moisturizing. And I use nappy creams around my eye hole too.

I adore your channel, but was SO surprised & disappointed that Murad by Dr. Zion wasn’t listed. It’s THEE BEST! (I also use the pads on my forehead, etc. as they are very generous with that liquid gold!) Haven’t used in over a month and I can see a HUGE increase in lines, hollows, and PUFFINESS!

That Bubble brand clay mask she loves so much has azelaic acid! I recently started using that ingredient and it's nice. It's in the Tula Clear it Up gel which has become my favorite acne treatment. For reference I'm acne prone, sensitive, and my skin leans more dry and that Tula product has been great because it has salicylic and azelaic in a fragrance free gel base. ❤

I have the "push up bra" de-puffing effect with sheet masks. The degree of depuff differs depending on the actual sheet and the serum that is soaked in that sheet, but in the meantime some of the collagen+gold sheet mask I use depuffs my face due to how cool the masks are even without keeping them in the fridge. And yes, I look paler too but that kinda happens when our skin is cooled.

I watched the skyn Iceland upload and based on your review I ordered them should be here any day now. You’re right they’re pricey so I’m glad it’s not an every night thing. Now I’m watching this and am confused are these to be used on the nights you don’t use Skyn’s micro needle overnight patches? I just wake up every morning and have to me at least pronounced festoons or small under eye bags that drive me nuts. I have been losing weight so I know that’s part of it (why fat why my face vs my tum?)😅 Still going to watch this and go from there as the only other way looks like a filler injected into tear trough and apples of the cheek. Total eye looks so good. I am guessing this brand sends you it for free? I have real bags and trying to figure out what to get... I want a reusable eye patch. I watched the whole thing but not sure which ones are reusable which I would prefer as I no doubt need them every day and that would get too expensive. My bags are mostly from allergies but as the years went by they now seem permanent. I also have very thin skin in that area and don't want anything too difficult to remove or too abrasive.

Question: I don’t use eye creams for all the reasons Casandra mentions. However, she does mention the issue with mica and other glittery compounds in eye cream as it is makeup not skin care. The question is when those compounds are in an eye creams do they inhibit any of the actives from penetrating? Or is the issue more that they are marketing it as skin care when in fact it’s the glitter that makes the immediate difference? If marketing was transparent would an eye cream that has good actives in addition to mica and other glittery stuff be okay?

@Priya yes. Btw she was not asking about irritation. She was asking about the efficacy. According to her, vitamin C and B3 together they may reduce the EFFICACY. They may react. Actually @Kelly, in my opinion it's all about the pH. If you are using two different serums and two have different pH values then using them all together at the same time may reduce the efficacy. So better to wait for few minutes or use one at some other time. But if pH values are almost same then as @Priya said earlier, it will not be an issue. I think we have videos on this but I forgot. Anyway let her do a video as you said. It'd be fun :)

I like them too. I also like the Good Molecules Caffeine patches. Wander Beauty did nothing for me. I do like the reusable Pacifica patches. You can put any eye cream you want on them, wash them and put them back in their little tin. I will use a peptide cream, Vit K cream or caffeine cream.
