Underhand Chop Demonstration

Members of the Purdue Forestry Club in late March practiced their lumberjack skills to prepare for two competitions coming to Purdue University on April 9. About 150 students from nine universities will compete in the Midwestern Foresters' Conclave, and top professional and collegiate lumberjack athletes will compete in the Stihl Timbersports Series Midwest qualifier for the right to advance to the national championships in August at the Oregon State Fair.
