Beautiful effects with the underpainting and the texture on top. Can you tell us what Uart pastel paper you use? and your primary pastels? I have Rembrant, but wonder if I need some more...thanks for sharing.

Hi Carol. Alain uses UART 500 paper. Our paper does not require any fixatives at all!

Hi Sima. A lot of artists blend pastel with either bare fingers or wear plastic gloves.

Keep the paper vertical, work in a ventilated space and don't stand too close to the drawing board.
