My buddy swapped Aegar in instead of his usual budget Izzet commander just last njght and he got tons of card draw off him. It's really easy to get value out of that card.

I put Xolatoyac in the 99 of my Arixmethes, Slumbering Isle deck, since the theme is already "untapping lands" and with Arixmethes you always have a 2-mana- and in the command zone as a target for Xolatoyac's ability.

Correct me if iam wrong, but Xolatoyac states at the beginning of your end step, untap each perm you control with a counter on it. So first to follow up with the video you could NOT give a token to another person. Second it says counter not flood counter. So aslong as it has any kind of counter it will untap

the two abilities are not connected. You get to untap each permanent with 'any' counter on it. Flood counters are obviously the internal synergy, but this also counts '+1/+1' counters, ability counters, charge counters, etc... The first ability though, allows you to put flood counters on any target land. This is generally going to be used to put counters on your own lands, turning them into islands and making it so that while your commander is on the field they get to untap. This ability can be used to turn opponents lands into islands though. This is useful for abilities like island walk, and also for the wealth of blue sea creatures that require opponents to have islands in order to attack them. There are many reasons why you might want to turn opponents lands into islands but those you can look up yourself. However, those opponents lands will indeed, not untap as a result of the second ability.
