I own most of Manuel Cross creation but never heard about Ishtar till I visited Scentbar in LA this week. It’s amazing and sadly discontinued but was lucky that they’ve sold me their last bottle. Your spot on, a unique soapy scent that I can’t wait to enjoy and it lasts lasts with a beautiful sillage

Just getting my nose on a couple Rogue perfumes and they are indeed amazing. I’m fairly new to niche perfumery(or perfumes at all, really), and am quickly discovering my taste lies here in the old school scents brought into modern day. Absolutely love Derviche! Tabac Vert is too soapy and green for me(I think a have a sensitivity to some ingredients). Do you have any other recommendations in the line?

I've sampled some of Rogue Perfumery and Fougere L'Aube is my favorite so far with Bon Monsieur at 2nd place. I've also smelled Derviche and liked it but wondering if I should get Derviche 2 instead. Is Derviche 2 a straight up upgrade or is it different from the first one?

I think Derviche 2 is richer & an improvement from the original. The first one is great…2 is better IMO.

These fragrances require a sophisticated, confident, classy man to wear them? Sadly some fragrance reviewers are becoming like wine snobs. They attempt to read way too far into a fragrance and end up sounding ridiculous. SNL should do a skit on these types reviewers. Wear what you like and when you want to wear it.
