Still can't for the life of me understand how you can rate/review a cologne so accurately with a video, yet here we are. That Lauder for men description is spot-on, sir... Lauder for Men is in the top five most completely underrated fragrances around. I will have it as long as they make it. Women love it. It’s by far and away the most complimented frag I own and I own well over 50 designers.

Rogue has been on my radar for a long while. I need to pull the trigger and buy something from him. Lauder for Men is one of my favorites. Got a bottle as a gift back in the 80s. The newest version I have now smells great too. Lauder also had one called Metropolis that was pretty good.

Bought a bottle of Bon Monsieur and I love it. Have to agree with comparisons to Drakkar Noir but it smells much smoother and more rounded to me. Love the videos!

Lauder for Men is awesome. I used to wear it in college in the 80’s and have been away from it for a while. Recently got a decant and was love at first sniff. Doesn’t smell dated at all like some of the 80’s frags. Gotta get a bottle now. I wish it was never discontinued

We love the Rogue Perfumery over here, Mr. Smelly. Atm, "Fougere L'Aube" has been a go-to, and actually garners unsolicited compliments out in the wild. As for your new friend Terry, he may need to slow down a bit, but I still see potential.... Let's Project!!! 💨💨💨💨💨💨

I own and enjoy Bon Monsieur. It might be my favorite release, so far, from Rogue Perfumery, and it reminds me a lot of what Drakkar Noir used to be like. I love a large amount of oak moss in a fragrance, and Bon Monsieur has that. I think that the modern formulation of Drakkar Noir is not even half as special as it used to be (but I own it, though), and I plan to layer it with Bon Monsieur.

Very Nice Dan.....My suggestion to people is to buy the fragrances you like now or very soon because the prices if they already haven't are going way up for the fragrance you love...its called inflation....Get it now or pay out your behind. I got a decant of Bon Monsieur and don't care for it. There's an awkward spiciness in there that clashes with an otherwise good barbershop scent profile. However, I love Lauder for Men! It's a gentlemanly clean powdery fragrance. I'm glad I happened to see it in the store recently. That classy bottle caught my eye!

I'm all for brands who don't follow IFRA. I would like to try Chypré Siam. Wow- I remember in the early or mid 90s buying Metropolis by Lauder. Do you remember that one Dan? I'd forgotten that one. Very masculine. It came out in '87.

Rogue Perfumery Bon Monsieur does do something new....it thumbs its nose at IFRA regulations. I have Bon Monsieur and I now have Gravitas. Both very, very good. Gravitas is actually placed higher in my collection. It's nearly as smooth as the smoothest fragrances in the world: Creed Bois du Portugal and Tom Ford Beau de Jour.

Lauder for men was a favorite of mine. Unfortunately, it was so potent that I rarely got wear it. My friends wore Georgio of Beverly Hill and Obsession, sweeter fragrances. Nobody in my circle really enjoyed Lauder for men but me.

I've been considering Lauder for Men recently. I was hoping you would offer a clearer image of the back of the box with the ingredients and the ILN # (the formula code) at 12:24. That's the only way to tell when it was last reformulated, or how many reformulations there have been in the last 36 years. *Why did you buy it from a discounter like Notino when Estee Lauder UK is selling it for just £7 more at £58.00 At **13:02** in, it looks like there's a dent on the atomizer ring. Unusual for a new bottle. You didn't do your homework for this one. Never buy from a discounter when the designer house is selling it direct for nearly the same price!*

As much as I love the smell of the modern formula Lauder for men, the longevity is really underwhelming, considering that the vintage version is considered an outstanding performer. This surely isn't supposed to be a powerhouse but I wish it would at least last an workday. The modern formula is gone in ~3h on my skin.

wow, its longevity is one of the things i love about it! perhaps it's a body-chemistry thing (?) I purchased a (supposedly updated) version of Candies for men (I REALLY loved the original) from Amazon last month and while the scent is very similar to the original (but not exactly), it's longevity is a joke... so I guess in the end with colognes, as in life IRMV...

I have the vintage version, I went to my parents house and discovered a bottle my aunt had given me long ago. it's the best smell I could imagine but the longevity is highly unimpressive.

What's crazy about Lauder for Men is that I found a bottle randomly at a Ross store and it smells just like the 80's, meaning when people purposely wore too much cologne thinking they'd attract all the ladies.
