As someone who owns two Bvlgari serpenti bags, the quality and craftsmanship is insane. All of the hardware is gold/palladium plated, and the eyes or clasp has real gemstones for the eyes. Even the smooth leather bags are pretty durable for smooth leather. Mine looks brand new and it's 2 years old.
