I have gotten back to enjoying taking care of my own hair. Washing and deep conditioning sitting under my dryer is priceless “ME TIME” and feeling my hair after taking the time to take care of it is so satisfying. I’m picky about my hair care and take it real serious soooooooooooooooo I keep it home. It’s so sad that ppl are making these embarrassing recordings Professional Stylists don’t do this to customers.

This video is a bit misleading. Anyone who is a cosmetic chemist, or a herbalist, such as myself who makes cosmetics know that there is not enough henna in any of these ingredients to cause any damage or even be beneficial. You have to look at where the ingredient is in the ingredient list. It is too far down on the list to really be measurable.. even if you use it every day it’s not enough usage to cause real damage.

This makes me wanna be a hair stylist so I can honour the people who trust me with their precious hair. Putting bag energy into someone's body is evil, it should never be done. Clean energy only.

Update!!! Be Aware that some of the ingredients in MIELLE ROSEMARY & MINT OIL can straighten your hair. For example, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil can straighten your hair and is one of the ingredients in the product. That is why hair can fall out over time and/or change texture. It is imperative to use strong hair oils in very small amounts and every now-and-then. If you use the oil daily in micro amounts, your hair may looked kinda relaxed.

Doing a skin patch test on my arm after this post. Hope my arm hairs don't fall out. BTW i know that this type of product should be used in small amounts and that often, maybe once a week or every two weeks because of the ingredients being naturally active. ❤

I’m sad that this is happening to mostly everyone but glad that I’m not the only one experiencing hair shedding and scalp pimples after using the oil. I’m sticking to just natural products for now and do tons of research instead of listening to trends.

My hairstylist experiences w/ long, thick 3c/4a: 1. hairstylist told me I should have a kid by a white man because if I have a daughter by a white man her hair would be beautiful. 2. hairstylist told me he’d support me getting locs 3. A hairstylist was suppose to be trimming my ends and cut my hair shoulder length, every time I went to her prior she made a point to tell me that she had a friend who had hair longer than mine. 4. Went to an african braiding shop and the girl got upset about something, I don’t know what because i don’t speak the language. She started crying while doing my hair and I couldn’t wait to get those braids out. Such bad energy. I’m good on stylist.

Polyquaternium 7 and 10 are part of the culprit in the shampoo. These ingredients are know to start making the hair dry over time, it not immediately

Good breakdown! I agree a simple naming could've averted a lot of it. I use lots of their products including a couple from the RM line and my afro is fine. If I saw Henna I definitely would move accordingly as a natural that has some basic ingredient knowledge.

In every type of profession some clients or services are going to be more time consuming. You can charge more for more time consuming services or longer/thicker hair. But you don’t then also get to complain and whine about it. I stopped going to a hairstylist because she would always end up charging me more and saying it’s because my hair is “so thick” and “difficult”. My hair is actually not that thick. But like fine you feel my hair is harder to work with and you want to charge me more. But for god’s sake stop complaining about it all along. You really making me feel like you hate doing my hair. Like get a different job then 🥴

The fact that that stylist hid her own face but not the client’s….coward, you know you’re acting like scum. Definitely why she kept saying she didn’t actually try to demand an extra charge after to make herself look better

Matted hair.... you should be ashamed of yourself walking into a salon with matted hair. And if the stylist is so put off by it, she should not accept the client.

Energy transfer is real. Pay attention to your hair journey, pay attention to your mood. Negative energy transfer to your crown will greatly affect your hair and your mental state. If the hair stylist expresses any disdain or discomfort surrounding your hair, leave. If you feel something is off even while you're in the middle of getting your hair done, leave. Don't allow anyone to ruin yours or your loved ones hair. Convenience means nothing if it comes with a cost.

Your hair is gorgeous as usual. I have a feeling that the braided side will retain more moisture. I normally keep my natural hair in twists for convenience and I’m thinking about switching over to braids when my hair gets longer so that I can braid it in bigger sections like yours. Tfs!
