There is no way Jim would have been able to move Dwight's real desk without help. So that's at least one instance where Jim had the assistance of at least one other person in order to set up a prank.

It's not that difficult to move a desk. Give him an hour after everyone else has left the office, and it can be easily done. What's not so easy is getting all the electrical, phone, and ethernet lines hooked up in the restroom. Not impossible, but a tall order.

IIRC that was the episode they were told the pranks were getting out of hand and to stop. Whichever of them was caught pranking the other first would forefit their Christmas bonus and the other got it. So basically he was baiting Dwight, who turned it around and successfully pranked Jim in a way he could *never* admit. Because he's out $200 but there's no way he could claim it was a Dwight prank because it looks like Jim doing a nice thing for his partner, and Pam would be pissed that the generous gift she thought was from Jim was part of a prank war.
