its got some attitude. It also has the 10 millionth open note breakdown that I get tired of halfway through the average Emmure song, which is a shame. Im a fan of metal of all kinds but I don't think new bands can afford to be a chugcore-type band anymore. At least purely. Add some riffs to it or something.

It’s decent, I’m just so sick of the DJ scratch sounds from early metal. Like bands are trying to sound like they are from the early 2000’s.

Or perhaps they as musicians really loved and appreciated that stage of metal, so they incorporated it into their style. I love the effects and ambiance, it adds to the atmosphere. I personally don't think they are trying to sound like they are from the early 2000's, instead replicate certain sounds into these new waves of Metal.
