I called the number on a dare from a friend. It was one of the police desk numbers. Fortunately, the guy did not pick up and I left a voicemail, fearing that he had callerID and apologized that I had the wrong number. I think my friend actually knew already, because he was laughing hysterically before I realized that it was a cop.

There was a bathroom stall in my HS cafeteria that was almost always covered in little messages, usually just the "I love so and so forever!" type stuff. One day, being a hormonal teenager, I wrote, "He's cheating on you with me" under it. I was out sick the next day, but I came back to a whole slew of messages threatening to beat me up if they ever found me in more than one kind of handwriting. I just wrote a quick, "Like to see you try!" and left it at that. Two weeks later, the school repainted the stall, but the girl was the first one to write on it again, this time with a new dude's name.

I really love this channel. I do not know the name of this narrator, but I love how genuine all of his reactions are, and how natural it feels when he narrates a story. No rehearsing, no dialed-up reactions for the video, and all the commentary that he gives to the stories are all always so genuine, it doesn't feel like anything is scripted. I've heard in other videos of this channel that every story he reads to us is the first time, and I really appreciate it. It almost feels like an old friend telling you about his many life stories. It's the only reddit channel I enjoy now, and for very good reason. Keep doing what you're doing, narrator, I love it very much.

back in highschool, someone wrote my number on a dollar bill and spent it at the school commissary -- thankfully, it did not leave the school and the person who got it ended up being super cool. he crossed off my number for me and we chatted that entire year. mostly over text because i was apart of a school within the school but he was still chill as hell.

@@Hokkai9401 a few of the staff of that highschool went off to try and make their own school that had a project based learning program -- they didnt have the funds to buy a building of their own that could be run as a school so the highschool gave them a few rooms, lockers, etc and let us students use their gym, workshops, and cafeteria so it was all legal as a school! super weird i know 😅 pretty sure the project based school is defunked now, it was a mess.

11:15, the pay phone, there was an apartment building on the corner by a pay phone right next to an elementary school on one side and middle school across the street. A smarmy guy lived on the second floor and watched out his window. When girls walked by, he would call the pay phone hoping they would answer. If they did, he would ask “what color are your undies?”. Some dad of one of the girls found out who it was. Effed him up big time in the groinish area. ‘70’s Wisconsin.

There was a sticky note left in a store closet with a number and the words "Adventurous? You won't regret it you know?" Me being me I pulled down the sticky note and dialed. This girl answers and we have some small talk. A guy comes into the call and talks a bit. They both discussed things like snorkeling, hiking, rock climbing, etc. Turns out they were doing a bit of viral marketing. We're still friends and they still adventure.

Exact opposite of this, I was going through a bunch of my old floppy discs and remember calling the "diskette hotline" which was some pre-internet tech support hotline and the number was printed on the back of the protective sleeve. Anyways, I called it and it said "looking for a good time?" I hung up immediately. Apparently the number had been been discontinued years back (probably whenever floppydiscs fell out of favor lol) and had been bought out by a girls call line. Prettty disappointed as I really did need some help with my floppy discs...

I've seen the numbers but never called them. The one I remember seeing was on a door to a filing room, which said room was hidden by a door with a bunk bed, which was in a big log cabin used for very large groups to rent out Yeah that number was really well hidden, I was the first one to notice there was actually a door behind one of the beds, so we moved the bed and found a little hallway, where the room with the number was on the right, and straight in front of us was another door into the bedroom next to ours Was a cool find to say the least

I remember calling LA Jesus. He thought He was reincarnated Jesus and would rage hard at us when we teased Him... we were about 12- that was back in the Days of corded landlines. We also used to dial random numbers and act serious while asking for People's opinions about strange things like- I was installing shag carpet on my ceiling to mimic miniature stalagtites since the shag would hang- that conversation went on for about 20 Minutes.

lol this reminds me of when I had a pbx set up back in the day and I lived in Europe. I bought a DID number and I would have an online friend in the US put sticky notes on cars in random parking lots of stores saying "sorry I dinged your car - My DID number" and I would be me prank calling them. Granted I originally got the idea from phone losers I believe. Probably still have the call recordings on an old HDD of mine. Would have to take a look. Might revive my PBX to call some of those bathroom stall numbers just to see who answers.

(TLDR at bottom) when i was 12 i had found a video on youtube that was blank, with text "call this number" then a phone number. the vid had been posted just a few minutes before i saw it on the home page, with almost no views from an account i had never seen before. weird. i texted something along the lines of "hey idk who this is but your number was posted on youtube" he asked me abt the youtube account of who leaked his number. turns out that was his friend, which he cut ties with after finding that out. then we added eachother on roblox and became friends. we still chat and play together occasionally now, even though that was back in 2021. TLDR; texted a random dude who unknowingly had his phone number on youtube, became friends for 3 years

Someone wrote my number on a bathroom wall when I was 19. I got a total of one call. I spent several minutes arguing with the guy. He kept asking me out and I kept telling him I was married. I eventually hung up and blocked him. Never found out who wrote my number or even what bathroom it was in.
