Fear of abandonment is terrifying and is extremely painful when losing somebody, even if that person wasn’t such a great match. Thanks for sharing these tips. I’m taking steps to improve myself and prove to myself that I am good enough and to find a partner that is actually compatible with me.

Just happened to me! People can be so hateful , they trigger your anciety and then gaslight you. I need to accept he wasn't the one and go over how ugly he was for something so simple to get through.

I was in (what felt like to me) a great relationship for 3 months. I got sick, and she bought me flowers, made me homemade soup, and took care of me. After that, I felt a shift in the text for a couple of days. Then I was blindsided, and she discarded me over text messages. I was with a narcissist for over six years, and this has been a more painful breakup. It's been hard for me to wrap my head around how everything was going so great thinking I found my person and thinking I was in a healthy relationship for once just to be thrown out like trash. How do you work on the gut anxiety feelings of the pattern shift in texting when you have the feeling, and then it comes true? Going through this, I found out I am also an FA leaning anxious. So, I guess going through this super hurtful experience has pushed me to deeper inner self work. I just wish she would have talked to me about what was going on. What a got wrenching experience this has been!

Fearful Avoidant; had wanted love but also self-sabotaged. I hadn't actually ever been abandoned, it was my Parents divorce that my young brain perceived that way when he went away except the court ordered 4 days a way. I lost all familiarity. Love was pain. I'm healing thru the courses.

This was so me, completely crippled by my fear of abandonment after being abandoned. Your courses and mainly the auto suggestion tool have brought me to a place of being able to say I no longer fear I will be abandoned. I didn't think I would ever get here. Thank you!

I don't have a fear of abandonment, I rather have a fear of losing a person. For example, if they leave me by their own choice, it won't trigger me much, because I'll just see this person as betrayer and move on. I'm afraid to make a fatal mistake that will make them to leave me. Or I'm afraid to leave a person then understand for a while that it was a mistake. That's how I a few times left my FA then came back to them. I experienced terrible overthinking, about "I did a big mistake when I left them", cried a lot. Does anyone other have this?

@littledevil8146 what if you do something extreme terrible to them and in a response they cut you off? will you still see them as a betrayer ? just curious.

@@hanmanteomkar Ofc it's not betrayal, it's understandable. Relationship - it's unspoken agreement to care about each other, to be loyal to each other, not to hurt each other. If I hypothetically hurt my partner that much, that means I was the first one who broke the trust.

Thanks for this video, we really need to know more about anxious attachment style, I've never dated anyone with this attachment style but it upsets me that they seem the most upset by DA's and we need to see what can be done to help this situation. Can totally relate to the fear of abandonment, it's my greatest fear (besides being broken for control) but maybe we just handle fear of abandonment in a different way. More awareness will help everybody, feeling hope 🙏

DAs completely lack accountability if that is what you are asking. Why many APs commit suicide after interactions with a DA

Its actually so sad that seems like AA have to do all the work towards themselves and towards other attachments styles. To make it simpler it is 1 vs 3. Its always compassion and compromising explanations based for other attachments styles but its always “you need to improve yourself so you can please other attachers” for Anxious Attacher. When you hear ppl talking about avoidance is always like talking to the second or third person. Of how to handle and be compassionate towards them. But not to anxious its like talking to the first person. Nothing uplift, nothing soothes. Can we agree that the 3 other attachments styles are just bumb? Can you just tell Anxious attachers the truth. Tell them that what they’re feeling are valid and they deserve to feel rage. Im sick of it. Think about it. Its 1 anxious vs 3 avoidant.
