Hi, welcome to ShuoshuoChinese 说说中文; my name is Shuo, I’m a native Chinese teacher living in Bangkok, Thailand, I’ve been teaching Chinese as a foreign language for seven years and I’m also a language learner.
In this channel, I will upload a weekly video, in which I talk about Chinese vocabulary, Chinese grammar, Chinese culture, Chinese stories with pinyin and the English translation for listening practice.
With my channel, you can easily start to learn and understand complicated Chinese grammar, sentence structure, and differences/nuances between similar Chinese words.
If you are a Chinese beginner, I’m planning to upload videos about what Chinese language is, how it differs from English, Chinese pronunciations, Chinese characters and Chinese stroke sequences and a mini Chinese course, (10 minutes per day), which can help you learn quickly and easily. Don’t miss it!
So, subscribe to my channel and start your Chinese learning journey!

If someone is telling you a story and you accidentally/maybe not accidentally stopped listening halfway through because maybe it’s boring you or you have something else on your mind or whatever, and now you’ve missed part of it but are left to have to respond some way (usually either this is going to be for your best friends who would be ok if you messed with them a little bit OR for complete strangers who start talking to you randomly and you are just not interested in talking back to them in the moment and yet they don’t get social cues and think it’s ok to tell you some wild story out of the blue) you can respond with “wow that’s crazy!” in a variety of different ways depending on the general tone of the story and act like you didn’t miss anything and get away with not having to ask them to repeat it 😅 and if it’s a complete stranger, they’ll probably finish the story and not elaborate and leave you alone thereafter! works every time!!!

Loved this video. I've learned a lot thru it. For whatever it's worth, the verb "quit" remains unchanged in past time (no -ted); in the "Baidu" scene, I'd recommend using: "Why don't you go on Baidu & see for yourself? Again, I love your Chinese lesson videos--they're fairly "short and sweet." 非常感谢您。

I was in China half of last year. Indirect = your handsome, amazing at Chinese, much to you make, why did you get fatter? I am kind of course, shuo knows more than me overall. In business environments Chinese people say "it's difficult "when it's actually impossible. They are careful not to do things that make you lose face in a group out of courtesy/respect.
