Hi there, Miss Lin!! Whats the difference (from piying form) between the pronunciation of "nan" and "nang"? Do we use the tip of the tongue in pronunciation of the first word, by any chance? Could you explain ?

Good! There were a few words I didn't know and one or two I missed due to speed, but I got about 85%, I think. I haven't had a real conversation in ten years, so that's pretty decent. This video was perfect!

Is this simplified or traditional ? And which one should one learn
@pathaleyguitar97633 жыл бұрын
depends on what your goals are. In general, the consensus is that if you start with traditional, picking up simplified is fairly easy (has been for me) but that if you start with simplified, learning traditional is not very easy. Additionally, if you want to live in Taiwan, Hong Kong, or Macau, then you should probably learn traditional. But if you want to live in china or singapore, you should probably learn simplified. Also, This is traditional.

Can you please let me stop at convenience store? or just simply... Can I go to convenience store? Using "by" is differemt meaning, I feel.
@darma-p3p4 ай бұрын
Miss Lin's English translation is correct. To stop by (somewhere) = to go into a place for a short time when you are going somewhere else.

This is two years old, maybe you're not doing these anymore. I'd say, nice job, but at intermediate you don't need more than about 5% or less of English...
