In Staad Shear reinforcement details of column is directly given irrespective of Major & minor direction. But in Etab we get shear value about major & minor direction as result . How we detail reinforcement in that case . Please Elaborate.

@@ilustraca Which factors do affect on eccentricity of RCC cloumn? 1- Position of beam supported on top of column section ie. beams are flushed to column side face or not. 2- Distance of another adjacent columns from this considered column, for take account magnitude of load, and moment which are affected by beam span distance . 3- Offset develop by reducing column size of upper floor column while maintaining same face of above and below floor column. I feels above these should be reasons for developing eccentricity in RCC COLUMN. Please guide me. Does Eccentric beam placement take account in Column Design? Does Eccentricity due to reducing column size of above floor column ? (while maintaining column face flush to above floor column.) Please make a video on eccentricity with therotical window.

To keep our analytical model simple we don't model the flushed beam, rather we model it at the centre.. hence, wd minimum eccentricity consideration we also keep the utility ratio 0.7-0.8 and not 0.9-1 to keep margin for different assumptions that r made in the model.

If you want to take effect of eccentric/flushed beam then u may model those and connect wd column using rigid links.. though it will make your analytical model complex.

@@ilustraca Thank sir . Do you means to say to use Floor Diaphragm or Master Slaves .
