Understanding Design Options in Revit (The North Wing - Part 5)

Missed this live. One thing I'd love is a view tag that listed the active design options in that view. Viewname - Option Set 1 - Option A, Option Set 2 - Option B (etc) Have never seen, nor figured out how to do.

@@TheRevitKid Yeah, used to use design options a lot in retail layouts, almost per department in a Big Box store until changes settled down. Snagit screenshot, grab text, copy/paste became a friend for grabbing DO names for view tags

I'm used beam tool for place some thin lines in my facade design And noticed that i cant copy it from option set to another😁🤦🏻‍♂️ Revit with unnecessary errors Say to us we couldn't use it like sketch up or 3dmax🤦🏻‍♂️ We just want to design and feel free🤣

@@danielojani2827 you 100% CAN copy beams between design options. You’re probably hosting the beam to an element which means the beams host needs to exist with the beam
