Understanding G28 on your CNC Machine

Really helpful. Explains some "random" crashes I experienced. Z crashes when starting a job and also job finished so now spindle fly away until X and or Y crashes.

My G28 does'nt does not go to z home position,I do not have homing position switches

What I can't figure out is how to reverse the Z moves. The rest are fine but Z is doing negative for down and every machine I have ever used, or owned, negative is up as the values get smaller. G90 G94 G17 G21 G28 G91 Z0 G90 T2 S10000 M3 G54 G0 X59.153 Y-49.95 Z15 Z5 G1 Z0 F750 X59.235 Y-49.867 Z-0.309 X59.153 Y-49.785 Z0 X59.235 Y-49.867 Z-0.309 X59.886 X60.036 Y-49.864 Z-0.322 X60.196 Y-49.851 Z-0.369 X60.219 Y-49.848 Z-0.38 X60.362 Y-49.825 Z-0.467 X60.4 Y-49.817 Z-0.497 0 being the top stock.

Might have picked up on a mistake. The Machine Reference or Machine home is your G53, when u first start a machine with Limit Switches it will do a G53 to find out where it is and everything else is relative to that Home Point!

G28 U0- W0 . Sends your machine to home position .

All these great videos are totally worthless now, because the Fusion360 UI has changed so much. There is no "use g28" selection anymore.....
