just got an ASV machine, took a couple weeks to get used to it and make some adjustments to the mask and my bedding situation but its working out well. now I know why my life has been so difficult the last 40 years. today woke up refreshed at 7am and had a fabulous and productive day. if you need help with CSA get help immediately

I have had a dreadful snoring problem for several years. But now that I`m using this stop snoring treatment t.co/YwY3S24R2i my sleeping routine became so relaxing as it ever was. I truly like the guidelines and advises which can help me to do well the exercises everyday. I feel quite excited about continuing the routines. My snoring has vanished already. .

I have an ASV machine and I breathe 10 times in min. If you set the machine to 15 times in min that I need, the machine breathes for me 100% of the time. I can not have that at all. So even with a machine, I am at 50% too little in volume air with a machine. The machine has also reggaed with the setting of 10 that it breathes for me sometimes 90% of the time. I have also seen before the ASV machine with measurement that I did not breathe in 8 min. I have waited 2 years now to be admitted. Covid does the hospital says they are not allowed to take me in.

You know what causes CSA for some people? Nasal surgeries. They destroy nerves in the nose that sense airflow and provide feedback to the brain to drive the diaphragm/lungs in sync. I know because I had a Turbinectomy that destroyed my ability to sleep. Many others too with Empty Nose Syndrome from nasal surgeries cannot sleep.
@magnusenamd2 жыл бұрын
I have done two nose operations where you drill larger nasal passages and you went into the sinus and removed something as well. I have the worst central apnea, says the doctor he has seen who is not stroke injured.

I was diagnosed with OSA during sleep study. However, when using CPAP therapy has resulted in instances of CSA increasing during night. So, what should I do?

Same happens to me. Itherws like other machines that change it's pressure when you breath that apparently help. Haven't tried it yet

Sometimes when I sleep facing up I suddenly wake up gasping for breath and even after waking up I have trouble breathing and I feel like passing out. I have to stay awake for a few minutes and after that I have to sleep sideways. Could that be Central Sleep Apnea? It doesn't happen to me frequently and most of the times it happens when I'm stressed or when I haven't sleep enough hours the night before. I also have a feeling like my spine is been compressed and not enough blood is flowing through it, I don't know how to describe it.

Absolutely, I have this problem which also leads to anxiety attacks. The cpap machine is not a cure all, but a large aid in this and has nearly completely eliminated my anxiety attacks.I also have to sleep on my side.
@Cw-wi6uj2 жыл бұрын
Sounds like obstructive sleep apnea maybe the airways in your throat relax to much and you momentarily stop breathing if it doesn't happen I'd say that pretty much indicates it's not central as positioning doesn't fix central sleep apnea
