I have only watched the first few minutes but I just want to thank you for this information. I have been told I may have this after I had an x-ray, but the pain is intermittent and when it is triggered it's incredibly painful. I can't walk on it as the pain is so sharp, so I favour that part of my foot with a limp.

Great content. Fairly sure I’ve had a neuroma for 7y now. Started in 2015 with running 21ks on too small Nike Free on partly large pebbles way to often. Changed to too narrow trail shoes and it got even worse. Been struggling with it since. Larger wider shoes with less heel drop help + icebug soles with metatarsal pad, and have to be extremely picky with shoes in general. I still do 21ks but almost always have to stop at 10k and stretch out toes. Can’t wear many of my old oxfords any longer so had to get a lot of new shoes with wide toe boxes. Injections of steroids sounds promising, I will try to schedule a podiatrist to finally get rid of this issue. Met one in 2017 but only got high doses of ibuprofen then, which didn’t really help long term.
