There are many Muslim and Christian organisations who seek to make India a Muslim and Christian majority country respectively Therefore many Hindus have hostile attitude towards Muslims and Christians but we have really great respect for Sikhs, Jews, Buddhists and Jains 🙂

Christianity is on the decline in the West so are looking for converts in Asia. Educated Westerners are not interested in Christianity. Also, there's a tsunami of apostasy occurring in the middle east, Pakistan Arabia, north Africa and especially in the west among the educated under 25 moslems because their belief system does not line up in their minds in this 21st century

I am sorry for the Headache, but we (Jews and Christians) didn't want to be referred next to Islam, because Islam itself is a joke. They are bunch of claims and does not present the Abrahamic religion. Their concept of Allah is dzat, the same as Zoroastrianism belief (they worship Allah as dzat Ahura Mazda). Our scriptures all belief that Allah is one consists of Word and Soul, Jews and Christians has no debate on it. Islam itself in Qur'an teaches to kill other people who refutes their religion or mock Mohammed for being a whore (he s3x-ed with 30+ women based on their scriptures itself), yet they are viewing him as their "role model". Islam is never a peace religion, I agree that if more than 30% of the citizens converted to Islam (whether through lies, etc), that country is in danger.

Yea, even if it superficially does not appear like it, actually many westerners are turning to east asian spirituality. at least 50-60% of what is generally considered "atheists" or "agnostics" are most likely people that practice spiritual practices in the tradition of buddhism or with elements of hinduism. Generally called "Esoteric" @@prp3231

I come from Ukrainian Orthodox Christian Family :: and this is my honest review ; If any one read"s Bhagvad Gita ( I recommend Bg As It is by Swami Srila Prabupada ) with an open Mind ; one will definitely begin to make sense of perfect Philosophy of Purpose of Life purpose of Creation ; If God is mercyful why God allows so much of Sufferings and all such Questions ; ..but reading Quran and Bible people may end up being narrow minded and Extremist and regard others as Evil and Concept of God in Abrahamic Religions are very contradictory although they profess God is Mercyful but their Theology clearly demonstrates such God is Cruel... Having said that I believe a True Seeker should be open minded and free from all forms of Cognitive Dissonance and Sectarianism ..This is one of Eligibility for accessing the Truth...Gita is a Mysterious book ..it's revealed within heart by Mercy of Lord not by our challenge but by our Humility and sincerity .

21. O people! Worship your Lord who created you and those before you, that you may attain piety. 22. He who made the earth a habitat for you, and the sky a structure, and sends water down from the sky, and brings out fruits thereby, as a sustenance for you. Therefore, do not assign rivals to God while you know. 23. And if you are in doubt about what We have revealed to Our servant, then produce a chapter like these, and call your witnesses apart from God, if you are truthful. 24. But if you do not-and you will not-then beware the Fire whose fuel is people and stones, prepared for the disbelievers. 25. And give good news to those who believe and do righteous deeds; that they will have gardens beneath which rivers flow. Whenever they are provided with fruit therefrom as sustenance, they will say, “This is what we were provided with before,” and they will be given the like of it. And they will have pure spouses therein, and they will abide therein forever. 26. God does not shy away from making an example of a gnat, or something above it. As for those who believe, they know that it is the Truth from their Lord. But as for those who disbelieve, they say, “What did God intend by this example?” He leads astray many thereby, and He guides many thereby; but He misleads thereby only the evildoers. 27. Those who violate God’s covenant after its confirmation, and sever what God has commanded to be joined, and commit evil on earth. These are the losers. 28. How can you deny God, when you were dead and He gave you life, then He will put you to death, then He will bring you to life, then to Him you will be returned? 29. It is He who created for you everything on earth, then turned to the heaven, and made them seven heavens. And He is aware of all things. 30. When your Lord said to the angels, “I am placing a successor on earth.” They said, “Will You place in it someone who will cause corruption in it and shed blood, while we declare Your praises and sanctify You?” He said, “I know what you do not know.” 31. And He taught Adam the names, all of them; then he presented them to the angels, and said, “Tell Me the names of these, if you are sincere.” 32. They said, “Glory be to You! We have no knowledge except what You have taught us. It is you who are the Knowledgeable, the Wise.” 33. He said, “O Adam, tell them their names.” And when he told them their names, He said, “Did I not tell you that I know the secrets of the heavens and the earth, and that I know what you reveal and what you conceal?” 34. And We said to the angels, “Bow down to Adam.” They bowed down, except for Satan. He refused, was arrogant, and was one of the disbelievers. 35. We said, “O Adam, inhabit the Garden, you and your spouse, and eat from it freely as you please, but do not approach this tree, lest you become wrongdoers.” 36. But Satan caused them to slip from it, and caused them to depart the state they were in. We said, “Go down, some of you enemies of one another. And you will have residence on earth, and enjoyment for a while.” 37. Then Adam received words from his Lord, so He relented towards him. He is the Relenting, the Merciful.

What is special about being a Hindu 1) Believe in God ! - Aastik - Accepted 2) Don't believe in God ! - Even then you're accepted as Nastik 3) You want to worship idols - please go ahead. You are a murti pujak. 4) You don't want to worship idols - no problem. You can focus on Nirguna Brahman. 5) You want to criticise something in our religion. Come forward. We are logical. Nyaya, Tarka etc. are core Hindu schools. 6) You want to accept beliefs as it is. Most welcome. Please go ahead with it. 7) You want to start your journey by reading Bhagvad Gita - Sure ! 8) You want to start your journey by reading Upanishads - Go ahead9) You want to start your journey by reading Purana - Be my guest. 10) You just don't like reading the Puranas or other books. No problem, my dear. Go by Bhakti tradition. (bhakti: devotion) 11) You don't like idea of Bhakti! No problem. Do your Karma. Be a karmayogi. 12) You want to enjoy life. Very good. No problem at all. This is Charvaka Philosophy. 13) You want to abstain from all the enjoyment of life and find God - jai ho! Be a Sadhu, an ascetic! 14) You don't like the concept of God. You believe in Nature only - Welcome. (Trees are our friends and Prakriti or nature is worthy of worship).15) You believe in one God or Supreme Energy. Superb! Follow Advaita philosophy 16) You want a Guru. Go ahead. Receive gyaan. 17) You don't want a Guru.. Help yourself! Meditate, Study! 18) You believe in Female energy! Shakti is worshipped. 19) You believe that every human being is equal. Yeah! You're awesome, come on let's celebrate Hinduism! "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam" (the world is a family). 20) You don't have time to celebrate the festival? Don't worry. One more festival is coming! There are multiple festivals every single day of the year. 21) You are a working person. Don't have time for religion? It's okay. You will still be a Hindu. 22) You like to go to temples. Devotion is loved. 23) You don't like to go to temples - no problem. You are still a Hindu! 24) You know that Hinduism is a way of life, with considerable freedom. 25) You believe that everything has God in it. So you worship your mother, father, guru, tree, river, Prani-matra, earth, universe! 26) And If you don't believe that everything has GOD in it - No problems. Respect your viewpoint. 27) "Sarve jana sukhino bhavantu" (May you all live happily). You represent this! You're free to choose, my dear Hindu! This is exactly the essence of Hinduism, all/inclusive. That is why it has withstood the test of time inspite of repeated onslaught both from within and outside, and assimilated every good aspects from everything. That is why it is eternal! There is a saying in the _Rigveda_, the first book ever known to mankind which depicts the Hinduism philosophy in a Nutshell: "Ano bhadrah Krathavo Yanthu Vishwathah" (Let knowledge come to us from every direction).

Sultan Muhammed Ghuri (AD 1175-1206) Ajmer (Rajasthan) "He destroyed the pillars and foundations of the idol temples and built in their stead mosques and colleges, and the precepts of Islam, and the customs of the law were divulged and established. .." Kuhram and Samana (Punjab) "The Government of the fort of Kohram and Samana were made over by the Sultan to Kutuu-din. He purged by his sword the land of Hind from the filth of infidelity and vice, and freed it from the thorn of God-plurality, and the impurity of idol-worship and by his royal vigor and intrepidity, left not one temple standing..." Meerut (Uttar Pradesh) "Kutub-d din marched from Kohran and when he arrived at Meerut which is one of the celebrated forts of the country of Hind, for the strength of its foundations and superstructure, and its ditch, which was as broad as the ocean and fathomless- an army joined him, sent by the dependent chiefs of the country. The fort was captured, and a Kotwal was appointed to take up his station in the fort, and all the idol temples were converted into mosques." Delhi "He then marched and encamped under the fort of Delhi...The city and its vicinity were freed from idols and idol-worship, and in the sanctuaries of the images of the Gods, nosques were raised by the worshippers of one God. Kutub-d din built the Jami Masjid at Delhi and adorned it with stones and gold obtained from the temples which had been demolished by the elephants, and covered it with inscriptions in Toghra, containing the divine commands." Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh) "From that place (Asni) the royal armi proceeded towards Benares which is the center of the country of Hind and here they destroyed nearly 1000 temples, and raised mosques on their foundations and the knowledge of the law became promulgated, and the foundations of religion were established. ." Aligarh (Uttar Pradesh) "There was a certain tribe in the neighbourhood of Kol which had occasioned much trouble. Three bastions were raised as high as heaven with their heads, and their carcasses became the food of beasts of prey. That tract was freed from idols and idol-worship and the foundation of infidelity were destroyed." Bayana (Rajasthan) "When Kutub-d din heard of Sultan's march from Ghazna, he was much rejoiced and advanced as far as Hansi to meet him. In the year AH 592 (AD 1196), they marched towards Thangar, and the center of idolatry and perdition became the abode of glory and splendour.." Kalinjar (Uttar Pradesh) "In the year AH 599 (Ad 1202), Kutub-d din proceeded to the investment Kalinjar, on which expedition he was accompanied by the Sahib-Kiran, Shamsu-d din Altmash... The temples were converted into mosques and abodes of goodness, and the ejaculations of bead counters and voices of summoners to prayer ascended to high heaven, and the very name of idolatry was annihilated. ." b. Sultan Shamsu'd-Din Iltutmish (AD 1210-1236) Delhi "The Sultan then returned from Jalor to Delhi..and after his arrival 'not a vestige or name remained of idol temples which had raised their heads on high; and the light of faith shone out from the darkness of infidelity.. and the moon of religion and the state became resplendent from the heaven of prosperity and glory."

I was a Salafi Muslim for three years after leaving evangelical Christianity. From one extreme to another. I was lied to when I converted though about their beliefs. They told me they accepted diversity of thought, LGBTQ people and leftists. They also got to me when I was alone and scared. Years later I learned the truth and got sick of the bigotry I faced. Muslims are good people, I love and honor them. But extremists like the Salafi, evangelical right, etc. I avoid like a plague. We need to learn to embrace and platform the progressives of faiths and call out the extremists. Edit: the islamaphobes in the comments literally misunderstood the assignment

Reason is the other belief systems, esp. Abrahamic ones, do not consider non religionists as equals and deem them hell bound. Tolerance goes both ways. One sided tolerance always ends horribly. Kashmir is a prime example of that. Hence Hindus are now waking upto the sordid reality. If you don't accept us, we also will not accept you. Hindus will now respect and accept Islam and Christianity as much as Islam and Christianity respect and accept Hindu beliefs. Period.

Untrue conjecture. Humans aren't animals like rats or snakes. Muslims are much like this video has laid out. I'm somewhere in between the conservative and moderate (very near the absolute middle?) but I draw a hard line at Shirk and Bid'ah in Islamic rites of worship. In Quran, we are exhorted to seek a middle path in all areas and to not go to either extreme - whether liberal or extremist.

@@Ezees23 Then you are not a true Muslim according to your own sources and certain groups, and believe me I have read them, and the things I know about them, and if I decided to write down the things which are in it on this platform, I would probably get banned for telling what's in your own sources. This is a time of a social media and because of it, there are no more secrets that you can hide anymore which are part of your own sources . The analogy stands and I will not apologise for it. The other thing I was curious about was, why are you using a name that has no relations with being a Muslim ? Eric F. ? I exactly know what this is, lol 😆 😂
@Ezees23
@Ezees23 2 жыл бұрын
@@harryb4364 Eric is my name. I was born with it. There is absolutely no requirement to change one's name after accepting Islam. I do however have an attribute that I strive for and call myself: Shahid. LOL, you say that I'm not a 'true' Muslim but you have a poor understanding of Islam. Islam is based upon 5 'pillars' and 6 'articles of faith'. As long as I have said Shahada (with witnesses) and I incorporate the other pillars into my life and believe in the articles of faith, I am Muslim. The five pillars are. 1) Shahada 2) Salat 3) Sadaqah 4) Ramadan 5) Hajj I have yet to perform Hajj. The others I observe to the best of my ability. You mentioned 'some groups' in your post. They have no right to judge my 'iman' as long as I'm not outwardly committing Shirk, Bid'ah, or other bad behaviour that is against society - and neither do you. No one but Allah knows what's in a person's heart. And Allah knows best.
@harryb4364

@@Ezees23 I understand what you are saying Eric, your beliefs still poses risks to rest of the other beliefs and faiths, where it doesn't acknowledge their validity of a beliefs, and it's hell bent in wiping them out on the basis of exclusiveness, where they say they are the only REAL ones , Whereas rest of them are all false, and even Christianity also does the same but in milder manner. Every Abrahamic faith claims this exclusivity and there's no proof in sight, apart from he said this, he said that. Whereas a Dharmic concept is about seeking not believing. It doesn't matter to me who believes in what, but yours do, because it encroaches on my freedom due to it's dominant nature and it also claims this in your own sources. It's this kind of concept I find it distasteful, you can sugar coat as much as you like but once you know the truth and what's written in your own sources, you can't change it. The two words you keep using in your comments are proof that you don't respect anyone else's faith because if you did you are committing a greatest crime according to Islam. I am not saying you are not nice, it's just in your nature which is dictated by your faith to be what you are. Stay well.
@Ezees23
@Ezees23 2 жыл бұрын
@@harryb4364 I see your fear and disdain but I'm telling you that it's very misplaced and irrational - and is really a product of the media that you may have taken at face value as being truthful. I can only share with you from our truest 'source', the Quran - not some sect or another, nor from what is hammered to people on the news. There is a huge agenda to misrepresent Islam and it comes from a desire to mislead and control peoples' minds and appeals to peoples' fears. Directly from Quran: Q 2: 256) There shall be no compulsion in Religion; the right way has become distinct from the wrong way. Whoever renounces evil and believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy handle - which does not break. Allah is Hearing and Knowing. Q 2: 62) Those who believe (in this Quran), and those who are Jewish, and the Christians, and the Sabeans-any who believe in Allah and the Last Day, and act righteously-will have their reward with their Lord; they have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve. Q 2: 277) Those who believe and do good deeds, and pray regularly, and give charity-they will have their reward with their Lord; they will have no fear, nor shall they grieve. These are just a few of the specific promises from God to Man about his conduct and his responsibilities. There is so much in Quran and Islam that is misinterpreted and actively falsified by those who are anti-Islam - by any means necessary - even to the point of outright lies. I invite you to read the Quran and it's commentary to find out more about actual Islam. Also, what some countries' societal traditions are and what some 'Islamist terrorist groups' do is not to be confused with the actual ideas of the Quran nor true Islam - Islam is for the benefit of Mankind and as such, it is quite universal and wide in both tolerance and application. Peace.

Brutal Facts - Experience is more than knowledge,i have experienced it,so will share it. If u want to know about the Reality of Bharat & Pakistan or Bangladesh , then Know about 1.what's the population of global minority Jains/Buddhists/Jews/Parsis/Hindus/Sikhs in Pakistan/Bangladesh during 1947 n today's 2023 Population 2.The population of muslims during 1947 n today's population, Also in India muslims are not Minority, muslims are more in numbers than actual minority Jains/Jews/Parsis/Buddhists . Bitter Fact-Muslims in India are getting Minority Reservation/Freebies in India in education,Job n even health. But no reservations/freebies to the actual minority Jains/Budhhists/Sikhs/Hindus in Pakistan/Bangladesh. Don't bluff that the actual minority in Pakistan/ Bangladesh just simply went off to Bharat for no reason,it was a brutal Holocaust by terrorists producing country #Papistan. This can be only understood by people who saw atrocities fake victim card users that's #Papisthan terrorists who Converted/Raped/Looted/Killed Non-Muslims/Kafirs..

Just to add a few things: traditional Islamic theology generally accepts God’s attributes as represented by His Names. However these attributes are not corporeal in nature, rather they are transcendental and exists beyond material forms.

Very true. The Bhakti traditions also acknowledge the Lord's attributes as transcendental but they can still be accessed through the material

@@DharmaSpeaks Thank you for having the time to respond. I would also like to say that I appreciate you for putting out this informative video during a time when Hindu-Muslim relations are tumultuous to say the least. In my opinion categorising Muslims as liberal, moderate, conservative and extremist fails to grasp the layers of sophistication of Islamic belief. And expecting Muslims to hold egalitarian views on salvation is in my opinion projecting our own beliefs onto another community which is a useless activity if we claim to hold the premise that each religion provides a unique spiritual experience. On our part, it seems condescending and it implies that any form belief should meet a criteria set by none other than ourselves. This may seem rather insignificant to you for you hold religious universalism as self evident, but one could also argue that Muslims see their claim to religious exclusivity in the same way. Hindus should not have any issue with Muslims for believing in something which is diametrically opposed to their values, the problem arises when one community is obligated by their religion to ignore any separation of church and state and meddles with affairs pertaining to individual freedoms.

@@adityaranjit9564 as the video itself points out we can never neatly define all Muslims. But I do believe the spectrum outlined is of value to Hindus. It encourages them to understand some variety of beliefs.

@@adityaranjit9564 we live in a society where those of different religions interact regularly. The doctrine of religious exclusivity is a toxic one. I think it is incredibly important to change it. If enough people strongly subscribe to it, it does lead to the erosion of individual liberties.

The hypocrites fight about the differences in religion; the Holy come together over the commonalities... remember that Hindus burned their widows and had a caste system. No religion is perfect.

Hinduism is not a Religion, first of all, it's a way of life. Also nowhere in Hindu Scriptures do the practices that you mentioned exist. I agree some bad elements are there in almost every group, but the teaching of Hinduism is not limited to any particular person, community, religion, country, or planet. It says Vasudaiv Kutumbakam (the whole world is our family ) So, even if it's not perfect according to you, it still is much more accommodating than you can realise. May the lord give you happines.❤ Hare Krishna.

@@gabrielleangelica1977 you have so less knowledge of Hinduism, you might even not know that the word Hindu is not found in any Scriptures of Hinduism. The real term is Sanatan Dharma or the eternal religion. Also, we never degrade anyone but rather accept everyone without changing his thought process. We believe in universal oneness.
