He asked Allah why, He said there's among the people 1 who has sinned, but not yet repented. The guy repented and then rain came. So, it doesn't matter how many times you do it, if you don't have imaan it won't help. Furthermore it has been answered several times, you can look it up.

Yasir Quadhi presents it as legitimate, as in "look at these famous scholars who said this was real, I'm not saying it's real, but it could totally be real" which is just one of many things Yasir Quadhi says that are problematic. Anyway, if they are fabricated, and we are certain they are fabricated, that means they don't have any chance of being real. Meaning Yasir Quadhi either spoke of it without knowing that or he deliberately misrepresented the issue for some reason. What I don't get is how on earth did a man armed with knife pass the security? *These Satanic verses are there in the earliest 'siirah' literature by Ibn Ishaq (died: 770) and its true that Muslims fabricated many ahaadiith. One of the worst was Abu Hurairah ad-Dausi, and the the so-called satanic verses are mentioned discussed only in works of Sunni scholars - eminent one at that. The family of the Prophet, the Ahlul Bayt, and their followers rejected it outright and never accepted it* . More details here: -*Ibn Ishaq in the oldest 'siirah' we have* : “Have you thought of al-Lat and al-Uzza and Manat, the third ... these are the exalted Gharaniq (high flying intermediary birds) whose intercession is approved.” (Sirat-ur-Rasul Allah by Ibn Ishaq, pages. 165-166 , and more on pages 166-167) - *The Muslim historian and Quran exegete al-Tabari* (الطبری) has this: “I have fabricated things against God and have imputed to Him words which He has not spoken”. (The History of al-Tabari, Vol. 6, page.111) - *Muhammad ibn Ibn Sa'd in his at-tabaqaat al-kubra says* : “The Apostle of Allah, may Allah bless him, repeated them (the satanic verses), and he went on reciting the whole of Surah (53) and then fell in prostration, and the people (the Quraysh) fell in prostration with him”. (Ibn Sa'd, vol. 1, page. 237) - *Ibn Sa'd also noted the Prophet's confession* : "Then the Prophet confessed: I ascribed to Allah, what He had not said. (Ibn Sa'd, vol. 1, page. 237) - *Bukhari 4862* : From Ibn Abbas: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ سَجَدَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِالنَّجْمِ وَسَجَدَ مَعَهُ الْمُسْلِمُونَ وَالْمُشْرِكُونَ وَالْجِنُّ وَالإِنْسُ‏.‏ تَابَعَهُ ابْنُ طَهْمَانَ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ‏.‏ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرِ ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ‏. *The Prophet(s) performed a prostration when he finished reciting Surat-an-Najm, and all the Muslims and pagans and Jinns and human beings prostrated along with him* Ibn Sa’d, Ibn Abi Hatim, Ibn al-Mundhir, Ibn Mardawiyah, Musa ibn 'Uqba and Abu Ma'shar all mention the event of “االْغَرَانِيقُ الْعُلْيَ” (Satanic Verses) in their exegeses and / or historical literature. Apparently, Ibn Sa'd used Wakidi's material, while at-Tabari used Ibn Ishaq's material as well as from Wakidi, plus others. The Quran has this: وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ مِن رَّسُولٍ وَلَا نَبِيٍّ إِلَّا إِذَا تَمَنَّى أَلْقَى الشَّيْطَانُ فِي أُمْنِيَّتِهِ فَيَنسَخُ اللَّهُ مَا يُلْقِي الشَّيْطَانُ ثُمَّ يُحْكِمُ اللَّهُ آيَاتِهِ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ" (22:52) "We have never sent any messenger or prophet before thee, but that Satan cast into his fancy, when he was fancying; but God annuls what Satan casts, then God confirms His signs - surely God is All-knowing, All-wise." Surprisingly,the first caliph, Abu Bakr, too fabricated a hadiith that Lady Fatimah, the Prophet's daughter, pointed out that this hadiith -that one no ever heard of- completely contradicts the Quran.The hadiith in question is: نخن معاشر الأنبياء لا نورث ما تركنا صدقة *We prophets do not leave inheritance, what we leave behind is charity* . As many have pointed out before, this supposed hadiith patently CONTRADICTS the Quran (!), and Hz. Fatimah bint ar-Rasuulilah pointed this out when she recited: :النمل , ١٦) وَوَرِثَ سُلَيْمَانُ دَاوُودَ *And Sulaiman inherited from Dawood* (Surah an-Namal, verse 16). There are other examples in the Quran which Hz. Fatimah quoted (e.g. Hz Zakariya asking for a progeny to inherit from him!), thus reminding all present that these quotations are from the Quran, something many of the early Muslims had no clue of as they didn't know the Quran. Those who did / could read, might have known but many didn't know the contents of the Quran and / or how to read it. We need to remember literacy was rare in 7th century Arabia! All this is relevant to how religion and the Quran was understood at the time, including the Quranic view of inheritance. The property of Fadak that the First Caliph had usurped on the basis of this false hadiith was therefore unlawful. Fadak was given to Hz. Fatimah by her father during his lifetime. It was NOT "ghaniimah" but was "fayy" - no horse or foot (i.e. cavalry & infantry) had conquered it, but was part of a settlement, Consequently, it was at his discretion who to give it to. The produce from it was used as charity to help the poor, as many of our historians mention. *Many ahaadiith were fabricated and people used them left right and centre. There are pointers in our historical and hadiith literature that should make us think hard* !

Aḥaadiiṯ are all fabricated, certainly nothing to do with Nabiyyu-LLaahi and Rasuulu-LLaahi directly or indirectly, and nothing to do with companions of the Nabiyyu-LLaahi! The Aḥaadiiṯ and the Bibles are alike! Whether one considers sound or unsound makes no difference, including the Siirat!

Plus These invented verses should have been placed right after verses 19-20 which mention the idols, but we find that the prostration mark appears in the last verse (62) of the chapter that says: So prostrate yourselves to Allah and worship! *The prophet never stopped reciting until he finished the entire chapter*

i did sed that response in another video. Prostate to Allaah and worship him. The object here is Allaah. And after the so called satanic verses, the whole surah then goes on to insulting their gods. It just doesn't then add up that the prophet would prostate to pagan gods as a direct result.

It was just a novel...A story! There are many novels based on flimsy history. It would've been insignificant if it wasn't for Khomeini's fatwa! That fatwa gave Salman Rushdie fame and career he would never have dreamed of. It propelled him into stardom. If Rushdie dies from this incident he will be considered a hero and martyr!
