Thank you. Our meat freezer left open. Threw out 100s$ meat. He wanted to go thru it all. Found potatoes under chair. Maggots.

UTI is the go to check-up in caregiving for people with intellectual disabilities who suddenly act up too. I think we all have stories of strange cranky behavior when the people we care for are 7nwell and unable to communicate directly.

MILLION THANKS for giving such a precise explaination of how Carers could /should do ... and Why Dementia patient react/act/have tantrums I have been under psychiatric/psychologist observation for years because of my depression & CPTSD.. but now I have to go for a CT Scan on 01/30/2024 to see if I may be having early signs of Alzheimer's ...😢😢 I am so anxious just waiting for that day and the result. I live alone.. 🙏🙏🙏I pray that my brains are not spaced out

I now look back athis actions and see that the hoarding and rummaging were early signs of the cognitive decline that I did not recognize.

my concern is that she is still driving i do not drive myself anymore in case I have a fit and get low calcium so im living in constant pain daily and sunlight is an issue auto immune, driving should have them i haven't had one for over 10 years to scared to drive now happy to getting a taxi if i am stuck i can never understand people driving on medications or whatever not safe for other people im glad she has bad mobility only get in out of her car so will not wonder very far for now kids don't understand what i have to deal with at work i work in dementia every other day physically hit etc screamed at by some of them it is very challenging for people to care for how i will do it i will never know she has an alarm and a flat at the minute i have felt strange negative behavior does not like me at all to busy making fun of me most of the time which hurts more than anyone should have to put up with already. i always thought it was narcissistic behavior seams to fit a lot more now at least it is not in my head
