What does it mean for the classification system to be "integrated" into the appellation system?

Question if I may. Final slide 'Describe this wine' - for L3 would we be expected to know the location within Saint Emilion for the wine in question? For example, the wine in your slide is Angelus, would we need to identify its location (North/North-West, South and East or South) to define how it may taste i.e. if from the North/North-West it would be similar in style to Pomerol, more black fruits. If from the South it would be lighter in style, with red fruits etc. Hope that's clear... Cheers!

Hi Michael - you would not be required to know where Angelus is located for the L3, therefore you would not need to describe this in terms of this question. But if you know it - stick it in!

How do you mean 2 hours away from bordeaux? it's 45 mins car drive i think

45 minutes on a good run - often my journey is in a coach or a 1971 VW Type 2, so it's always longer!
